"In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return." Genesis 3:19

Another passing in my family. We finally lost her to the Big C in a very short period of 2 months.
It was a mighty battle. She fought well... and she fought all the way to stay alive. Her will to live was all she had, but the Big C has a mightier weapon.
My cousin sister passed away on the night of 31 January 2009.
What happens when your body is all riddled with cancer and all you have is just your will to live? Even with a positive mind, is it enough to fight and win? How fast and furious can the cancer be? She didn't even get to take a breather to rest and have a good night sleep since the Big C came. She told us she have not slept well in the last 2 months. Finally she gets to rest.
May your soul rest in peace Stephanie.

What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.

Life is eternal, and love is immortal, and death is only a horizon; and a horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight.
