My ole friend Pippa. She wants to be let out and be held each time i am there. Like a lil worm, she crawls all over me. She's spayed and the top part of her left ear is cropped. Ear tipping is vital and can save the animals life. Eartipped cats that are caught by animal control are usually released back.
She's adopted on 2nd June 2012. May she be happy wherever she goes. A much loved funny lil one.

Ear tipping sounds a bit painful though it's for a good cause! Are pets generally microchipped there?
Pets are microcipped here.. but not all.. the laws are loose. Strays which are brought to this shelter are eartipped after they are fixed.
I has to say hers is da cutest little kitteh! Dat be very interestin' bouts da eartippin', I has nevers heard of it but dat ain't sayin' much.

Da Vet thinks it is my food as to why I be loosin' weight cuz it be weight control...makes sense. But he says I looks healthy at dis weight and I still has ALL my beautiful muscles so no to worries.

Ear tipping is done when the cat is being spayed/neutered. They are done under anesthesia so it does not hurt them.
It helps them in the long run. They are easily recognized and do not have to go thru another round of sterilization.
we dont know much about kittehs at all, I didnt know that they did this ear tipping. Interesting.
