The sun is very sunny these days. We sweat a lot.. both of us... my cow and i. Someone says i stink and have renamed me STINKO. I think she stinks more.

Even though its very sunny and sweaty and i am a curly wurly... i still love the sun a lot. I love basking in the sun in the garden and pretend to doze off like them kitteh kats. Them kitteh kats are usually more refined. They love them flower pots. I surely cannot fit in the flowering pots. They are not actually flowering pots because we don't have any flowers. We just have weed pots because all our flower pots are full of weeds. *BOL* But it sure looks cozy.

Here's my cow with her crummy mobile taking an aerial view of my handsome self. I am not fat... i am just well proportioned.

This picture sure looks like i am in troubles.. and someone has a gun to my back... but.. its just the crummy mobile at an odd angle. The shadow is part of the mobile and my cow's very big gigantic head.

Don't you all love lazy sunny slumbers?

She says she'll come back with the rest of the story on them hiatus later. We are going off for our walkies. YehoooooooooooooooooooooooooooOOOOO...

If she comes back to write... which i doubt. She's becoming very unbecoming lately. She's playing at some other playground and keeps forgetting about this one.

I'll make sure she'll come back ya... later

We are back... from our walkies... a not so long walkie as it was getting a wee bit dark. Grandpa says that we should not be out when the skies turn from orangey to black. We haveta be careful of them nosy buzzy mozzies. We are having them a lot lately.

see... its not even black yet

Perhaps we are back here to continue this long windy winded story which could take days to write.... before that... let's listen to one of her favourite songs of late while my cow scoot off to the other playground. You like? Would you like to listen to it? Here... let's do a singalong while she's gone.

note to The Typist: yes.. we have another new playground. Wanna come over to play on them swings and seesaws?

Jason Mraz ~ 93 Million Miles

We love Jason Mraz here... just my cow actually... she loves him. But she loves Roberto and Pete too. Urmm... oh yes.. she is very confused when it comes to men with guitars. She usually goes weak-knee and become a teen again which is not quite possible at HER age. When Roberto sings, she just melts... are your hoomans this crazy like mine?

Whooopppss.. its getting very black now... and my cow has to get up early to get me my supply of chicken from them market. I guess we'll continue about the hiatus tomorrow.

Here's tabby and me. We are great friends. She never bobs me on the head like all them other kitteh kats.

Her crummie mobile does take very blurry crummy pictures... Goodnite everyone. We'll be back tomorrow... hopefully. Be safe.. be happy and be good.

This song by Rod Stewart kinda sums up what i'm feeling now. Some guys DO have all the luck.

As you all know, my hooman left me for 4 ENTIRE DAYS with a TOTAL STRANGER last week. Happily she went off to some market in Thailand. Her excuse was... she wanted to get me a new bed because it is cheaper there. Yes yes.. my hooman is a cheapo cheaper cheapskate.

Here's me in my new bed.

Fitting in.. trying to fit in.. turning left and then right.. and then left again.

Don't you think that this bed is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too small for me? She must be outta her tootles when she's off shopping and just grab a bed for me when it was time to go home. I think she even forget how i look like when she was crazy shopping for other things. That's how she ended up with a smaller than small bed for me.

I did try to fit into it... made myself comfortable. It is very comfy and fluffy... but i am getting CRAMPED LEGS.

Now i am back to my old ikea donut bed with part of my new bed. Nowwww.. this is the right size and comfort. Don't you think so?

My silly hooman will need to bring me along next time if SHE wanna do some bed shopping for me.

Now we are left with a empty half of a bed.

Some guys do have all the luck. Mr P got a perfect size new yellow bed. I think there's favouritism going on around here. How come his bed looks so comfy and big... and cuter... and and and... with wings.

I am the thinkings and the thinkings... i am not loved. BoohoohoooooooooooooooooOOOOooooo On second thoughts... even this blog is named after him. BoohooooooooooooooOOOOoooo

Does anyone want a Curly?
I am good...
I am obedient.
I eat not a lot.
I sleep quite a lot.
I love walkies.
I love women.
I don't quite like very small kids that tug my tail.
I love to chase cats and I love to eat cat food too.
I am Curly.
I am handsome.
I am mostly funny.

Does anyone want me?

^.^

Five Loaves and Two Fishes ~ Corrinne May

This is one of my favourite songs when i feel small. Yes, sometimes i get a wee bit small when i forget. Corrinne May is a great singer songwriter because she can reduce me to tears. Some of her songs do. Even if i have listened to it many times, Fly Away just gets me every time. It reminds me of my own mom.

Before my keyboard gets flooded and my eyes get too blurry to type, let's head off somewhere else.

This is something interesting and worth checking out. And if you could help, every little bit goes a long way. In the bloggieland, every little paw helps out. So, let's all head over there... and do our part. Ronni and Richie needs our help.

Click on the button below and it will take you to the auction site. Do check it out ya.

One paw at a time goes a long way.
See you all there!

Rainy Days and Mondays ~ The Carpenters

An old song from my childhood :) Its been rainy here almost everyday and somehow this song came into mind. Since its a Monday, all the more apt. With a bit of a boom boom and kaboom that probably haven't hit my router yet. We are pretty still safe but we are on thunder lane and sooner or later, the router will probably see smoke if we don't turn it off when the thunder comes.

Some people do not understand why we have to turn the modem/router off when there's thunder and lightning. We live in a very old neighbourhood where the powerlines and the phone lines are all on poles (still). In the more modern, urban new neighbourhoods, powerlines are usually all underground. Safe from lightning strikes and thunderbolts.

Our garden is all lumpy with wet soil and very happy worms and snails

Dad: Dommy... wipe your feet before you come in.

Dommy: How? How do i wipe? I am all thumbs

Dad: Don't go running in the garden when its wet then.

Dommy: But but i have to pee... and poo... and chase out my meow buddies

Dad: Sand... its like a desert here in the hall. Stop bringing the sand in

Dommy: But grandpa... the sand just came with me. I didn't ask them to come in with me...

Dad's been complaining of too much sand in the house. *LOL* With a curly around, sand just follows. Sometimes grass follows too. We'll probably have to get Dommy some clogs or shoes to wear soon...

I'm innocent. Don't check between my paws. I got no sand in them.

With the constant rain, Dommy's been reduced to being a sluggish curly with no where to go except sleep. We found some kangaroo meat from Nature's Gift at our pet stores lately. He has probably have had it before when he was living in Melbourne with his first family. I sense a look of nostalgia on his face when he tasted it. Its probably my very own active imagination. *LOL*

Dommy has always been on a chicken or lamb diet. Our vet says beef is not too good for him. How much of lamb and chicken can a dog take day in and day out. Roo meat was a nice change. He leaped with joy and finished all his food in a jiffy. With a contented burp, he licked his bowl two times... grin and went on his way. Even a dog deserves variety in life.

What's a dog to do on a rainy day but zzzzZZZZZZzzzz

Footnote: We've noticed a bit of a cyber-bullying going around among some bloggers lately. Cyber bullying is really not necessary. We all blog because we have something to share. We should all blog for the right reasons and not to hurt people with comments. If you seriously do not like certain blogs or bloggers, just don't visit them and end of story. There is a blogger's code of conduct. Do not say anything online that you wouldn't say in person.
Yes... it was a daze :) And yes.. we went into hiding since the crooks were out to get us. And yes... we hid very well. And yes... we uncrooked the crooks and now there's no more crooks here. Now i am not making much sense here.

Let me try again. Its been a looooooooooooooooooooOOOOng week since our last post. We didn't go on any roadtrip this time. We just took some time off from them computers and mobiles but we watched a whole lot of tv (which is a bad habit to break too). *LOL* Okay.. this don't make much sense too.

We went on a short hiatus of sorts. Just the furries and me. Dad took off on a short vacation with his friends. We took the liberty to trash the house (shhhh! don't tell my dad) and we left them dishes piling high up in the sink. Both furries and i were just lying on the floor playing dead. We went for some walks and both of them are starting to walk in sync. We ate a lot of cookies and left a lot of crumbs on the floor.

Dom went for grooming (finally) and Piper tagged along to keep him company. Silly Dom was shivering so much when we reach the groomers shop. I had to carry him in and calmed him down on the sofa. He only goes for grooming once in 2 months or so. Usually a crew cut. They will tidy up his nails and ears too. He has his bath weekly at home and that is why he's still not used to strangers handling him.

 before

after

Small guy is always well groomed. For a furry, he's quite a clean fella. He don't like to go on sandy places... and he don't like to walk on wet grass or ground. I've never seen him roll on the sunny grass too. Sometimes i think he believes he's not a dog. But he loves the water if you have a hose and spray water all over the ground. But he doesn't like baths too.

 before

after

Oh... we have been sketching really fast. Too fast. Our hand control is out completely and we are in trouble. A cow look like a cartoon cat with horns and a cloud looks like a sandstorm. Its October now... and we have not actually sketched on the sketchbook project yet. Oh bummer!

Yesterday we had to wash and clean up the house before my dad arrived back home. Dom and Piper.. my partner in crime were no help at all. The just continue to play dead and snooze away.

Dad is finally home yesterday bringing home a lot mangoes, pineapples, poms, an assortment of nuts and lot of clothes for the kids. He had a very good time and hope to go again end of the year with his siblings. They were all talking about it this evening and planning a trip soon.

Tomorrow is my uncle's birthday and we are going to have a surprise party for the old man. He's gonna be 71. I don't even know what i'll be making yet. Hopefully it doesn't get burnt and hope it will be edible. My aunts are all great cooks. My mom too. Me... i am a temperamental cook.

I guess we better head off to bed now. Here's my mom's favourite song to end this post. She loves the raspy voice of Louis Armstrong. She only loves his version of this song.

What a Wonderful World ~ Louis Armstrong

Inspiration - Gipsy Kings

I remember a moment in time where we all will go... Baila Baila Baila Baila Baila Me
or we'll go BammmmboleoooooooooOOOOooo and then sometimes we'll twirl round and round in a very tight office :) It was a very happy place to be... and it was where i was most inspired.

It was also the place where I learnt to make a proper cup of coffee :) I spent 6 months in that office for training but the experience was enough to carry me through a lot of things.

We always have music in that office... it was like a mini disco. A lot of Gipsy Kings and instrumentals. A lot of smokes too because they love to smoke above our heads. *LOL* I came back home smelling like i just came back from clubbing.

It was also one of the crazy times in my life where we moved all the computers back to my boss's apartment to work over the weekend so that we can all be in one place. The office were not allowed to open on Sundays way back then. We crashed there for 48 hours to prepare for an important pitching. I don't even remember how we crawled back home after that 48 hours of no sleep.

A happy moment in time :) Give me Gipsy Kings anytime and the Baila Baila Baila Baila Baila Me comes back all at once.

Music can be a very useful tool when you are stuck or you need some inspiration.

I have a high respect for anyone who can play the guitar well. And not those campfire guitarist. But real guitarist that can play full songs. Or any song on demand :) I wonder if i could find a guitarist in my winter years to play some tunes for me. And he has to love dogs too :D Or maybe i could send Dom for some guitar lessons...

Back Home Again ~ John Denver

This is one of my many favourites of John Denver's songs. Yep.. i am from the John Denver era :) whoops! kinda makes me old :D He was very much a part of my life as he kept singing in the background no matter in the house or in the car :) He was everywhere.

The last of family member left this morning. Boy was the last to leave. A very sad face again. *LOL* Poor kid is always with a sad face each time he has to go back to college. And the countdown to sadness starts from yesterday. We told him.. cheer up. Its only 6 weeks and you'll get to come back home again for a holiday. No amount of cheering up did crack a bit of a smile on that face. Maybe it was the ulcer in his mouth that was giving him grief.

Boy saw most of his friends this time he came home for his break. They were all back since it was the Hari Raya holidays and a lot of the colleges and universities were having a longer break too. He went out with some friends and compared notes about living life on their own. Most of them suffered. Most of them are not very happy. Most of them have to struggle real hard.

He's in one of the top classes in his school. They are a very competitive bunch. Very brilliant bunch of kids. Most of them are on government scholarships and doing heavy degrees. When you are on government scholarships, you have to struggle hard to get a good place in the public university next year.

He told me, none of his friends are happy living out on their own and away from family. I asked him why? He told me... it is because we have to struggle and study real hard all the time. There's really no time for play because 2 years of work is cramped into 1 year to prepare them for university. I wonder if this is education gone wrong. Our country is developing a bunch of robots.

I remember my time in college was the happiest. But i did art. We didn't do much studying. All we did was have fun and went everywhere. We didn't have much grieve. It was just late nights doing the projects before the presentations but most of the time we were singing happily and doing the projects into the wee hours of the morning. But i am not a professional and i don't earn a lot of money. That's probably why i should have probably studied harder last time :)

We have had a lot of family at home these past few days. Dad was happy for the extra company. Dommy was delighted. So many people giving him tummy rubs and so many people taking him out to the garden to run wild.. hahhahahaa And so many people feeding him under the table. Each and every person in the house seems to be feeding him secretly and he's not telling me who. He's just happily bobbing here and there with a perpetual smile plastered on his face.

His head is ruffled each time he walks into each and every room in the house. Everywhere he walks he gets a Dommieeeeeeeeeeeeeeee... and he was almost not beside me most of the days. He was kinda parked at the dining table because that was where he had his most handouts :)

This holiday alone... just these few days.. i think he has kinda gained a bit of weight. His tummy seems to sway left and right bobbing happily away when he walks. And i thought that i have successful controlled his weight lately. I am going to get a shelling from Dom's groomer again next i see her because she will tell me that i am overfeeding my dog... again. But its really not my fault. Really.

Well... guess we do have to trim down his food again. His thin long legs will not be able to support his weight when he gets older... and he's very much a senior dog. Its really something to watch out for. Overfeeding is not love. My father always say that Dom doesn't look like a poodle. He says Dom's too fat to be a poodle. He looks like the roundest poodle. He'll probably have to join the Biggest Loser soon to lose some weight.

It has been a good holiday this time. We didn't go on any roadtrip and got stuck in some other state or on the highway. We were just at home bumming around. Cooking.. we even made a lasagna that don't quite taste like cardboard this time (yes! we are getting there) kids making cupcakes.. and just tons and tons of laundry :) Our laundry keeps piling up each day even though we did about 3 rounds each day. I could even hear the washing machine groaning away and finally heaving a sigh of relief yesterday.

I met up with some friends who came back too. It was nice catching up with them. We were laughing so loud in the coffee shop we kinda forgotten our manners. We were rolling on them cushions and thought that we were at home. These were my college friends. They still remain my closest buddies.

Well... this kinda sums up our long weekend of the Eid holidays. Hope everyone had a good break back home with family or with friends. Its been a while since this home was filled with life again. Both Dom and i are waiting for the next time that they will be back home again.

Very tired well fed rounded creature. He don't quite know how to cover his bits.

When this old world starts a getting me down,
and people are just too much for me to face.
I'll climb way up to the top of the stairs and all my cares just drift right into space.
On the roof, it's peaceful as can be and there the world below don't bother me, no, no.

So when I come home feeling tired and beat, I'll go up where the air is fresh and sweet.
I'll get far away from the hustling crowd and all the rat-race noise down in the street.
On the roof, that's the only place I know, look at the city, baby.
Where you just have to wish to make it so, let's go up on the roof.

And at night the stars, they put on a show for free.
And, darling, you can share it all with me, that's what I said, keep on telling you
That right smack dab in the middle of town , I found a paradise that's trouble-proof.
And if this old world starts a getting you down, there's room enough for two
up on the roof, up on the roof, up on the roof.
Everything is all right, every thing is all right.
You got the stars above and the city lights below, let's go up on the roof.

Up On The Roof ~ James Taylor

We are using this blog for a test today :) If you are passing by, hope you love this song.
Its a cover by Emi Fujita. I'll Have to say I Love You in a Song.

Lonely, I'm Mr. Lonely,
I have only a cookie for my own.
I'm so lonely, I'm Mr. Lonely,
wish I had someone to call on the phone.

Today i am the receiver of someone's random acts of kindness :)

Someone left me a huge number of EC credits. If you are here beside me now Ness, you will see this huge grin on my face when i saw the email :) It spread from left ear to right ear. Thank you so much for your EC credits from the bottom of our hearts. Piper and Dom sends their woofy thanks too.

Nessa's been my blogger friend for quite a while... but we never met. Even though i wanted to meet up with a few blogger friends the last round i was in Kuala Lumpur, i never found the time. Or probably i am just socially quite shy. *LOL* This is the case of talking about it and never getting around to make it happen. Hopefully i'll make time next time i am down and see some of you.

Do visit Nessa's blogs. She has three of them :) I especially love to go to her Recipes I Luv website as she has some pretty good tips and great recipes to share.

As with all things random and kind, i am passing on 1/2 of the EC credits from Nessa to one of my fellow bloggers on the list. I'll keep the other 1/2 to buy some doggie treats for Dommy and PP :)

Thanks again Ness. God Bless your kind heart. Here's a song for you.

Peaceful Easy Feeling ~ The Eagles

We went on the road again last Saturday :) Our car was filled to the brim with Boy's things and some of mine. Dommy just had a red bag with all his food stuffs and treats (i forgot to take his bedding). All this "on the road" trips is really tiring. We have been going up and down these past few weeks. Even my old car is complaining of weakness.

Boy's finally registered in a college to do his foundation. We all decided he should not do Form 6 and go through a whole of hell, pressure and stress. Its tough to be a kid nowadays. Education here is very much measured on excellence. You have to be the best or the best and nothing but the best.

Education should be changed and concentrate more on building kids to be more all-rounded and not turning them into robots through rote learning. Parents are just more concerned about how many As their kids are getting. It is of course not quite healthy learning. But.. i am not a mother/parent. What do i know. I should reserve my comments to myself.

Boy came here with mixed feelings. I am sure he's quite afraid of leaving the comforts of home. Home where he's been staying for the last 17 years. He's always been with my parents... his grandparents. When he was born, he was automatically sent to my parents as his parents were working in another state and a bit young to care for a small baby. The years just went by and in way he stayed behind with my parents and got used to life in Ipoh.

Parents shouldn't worry too much if their child is loved especially by grandparents. Its a different kind of love. Our hearts are able to take quite a lot of love. The bond between a mother and their child is always there. No one can take away that bond between them. The mother carried the child for the whole 9 months. The bond is already created when the baby is in their womb.

Here i am now. Looking at some green swaying plants in front of my window now. I am like a nomad. I keep moving.. *LOL* I brought my work with me and settling in my sister's house for the time being. When Boy is more settled and ok, i'll be on the road again back home.

Its really kind of peaceful here. There's the peaceful easy feeling which i am not quite used to yet. I have been running around like a headless chicken for the past 3 years. It is almost surreal to be so easy and peaceful. It might get a tad too boring after a while.

Ops! 2pm already. Time to get back to work.

Oh ya! Congrats to Emila Yusof for being the grand prize winner of Blog4FT . She has worked very hard the past year and just came back from the children's book fair in Bologna, Italy. Hard work always pays off in the end. Congrats to you Emi!

Comfortable ~ John Mayer

This is one of my favourites from John Mayer. I love songs that are simple. I love things to be simple. I get comfortable easily. My love is comfortable ;)

Life is sometimes quite simple. Some people will rock your boats and make life tough for you and even for themselves. I am not quite impressed with people like that. I will stay far far away from them.

People sometimes assume that i am distant and hard to reach. My closest friends know better :) Difficult people are just so exhausting. A simple thing can be blown out of proportion. A minute matter can be a major problem.

Sometimes we should assume less and just go outside to take a good look inside :) Everything will fall into places then.

Just collecting my thoughts :)

The End Of A Rainbow ~ Earl Grant

Its been a while since i last posted a song. Its is extremely warm here in the afternoon and people are falling sick all over because of the heat.

Kinda stumbled on this song. It is calming and nice to listen to on a very warm day. Like any soppy love song. Here's the lyrics below if you wanna sing along to it :) Happy Tuesday to all :)

At the end of a rainbow
You'll find a pot of gold
At the end of a story
You'll find it's all been told
But our love has a treasure
Our hearts can always spend
And it has a story
Without any end

At the end of a river
The water stops its flow
At the end of a highway
There's no place you can go

But just tell me you love me
And you are only mine
And our love will go on
Till the end of time

At the end of a river
The water stops its flow
At the end of a highway
There's no place you can go

But just tell me you love me
And you are only mine
And our love will go on
Till the end of time
Till the end of time

Tequila Sunrise ~ The Eagles

I could use some tequila now :D thirsty!

Short post today as we are in the midst of some more important stuffs for Wednesday :) Will post a looooooooooooooooooooooong winding post tomorrow :D

Hope you love this song by the Eagles. One of my ole favourites. Goodnite folks!

You Know Me ~ Robbie Williams

Me and my bad boy Robbie. I just love him. Either you love him too much or you just can't stand him (usually its the extremes of both side)

Its been a while since he came out with an album. This is from his Reality Killed The Video Star album.Great album i must say so myself.

When talent comes with passion.. this is it.

When i was in college cow years ago, there was this guy who comes to lessons on his dirt bike. Its almost similar to Robbie's bike here in the video. Every morning, i will wait for him downstairs just to see him roll in on his bike. Kind of admiring from afar.

I think i was more interested in the bike than the person *LOL* But he's not too bad looking too. He always looks so cool when he arrives. My knees also turn jello when i see guys in dirt bikes.
I also go weak-knee when i hear a guy play the guitar and sing. This fella happens to draw quite well. He's a great illustrator. His drawings of people were so lifelike. I remember he was extremely good with the air-brush.

But it was the bike that drew me to this character... hehhehehehee There were some days he comes for lessons.. still on the dirt bike but with bandages here and there. Guess he must have had a fall while racing on the dirt bike.

I don't know where he is now. Most probably old, bald and grumpy. *LOL*
Happy New Year everyone :) Hope 2010's been good to you all so far. Here's me wishing all of you a wonderful and bountiful year ahead.

Norwegian Wood ~ The Beatles

Why this song to kickstart the year? I got my head burrowed in a few books at a time these few days.. *LOL* and this was one of it.

Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami.

I kinda seek my moments at Borders for 2 whole days... *LOL* I love Borders.. especially the one at Curve. Most of the time, i am actually at the children's section. They have more colourful books and with lotta glitter and better pictures.

A lot kinda happened in the past 2 weeks or more while we were away. Some losses some gains.. some happy moments.. some tense.. mostly quite a tiring one. I came home more broken that ever. My head kinda feel detached from my body. Tired as a log but... i'm all slept out now :)

We should all just understand that we are all unique. Different. If everyone could understand that, it wouldn't be a tense holiday at some point. But.. with all the tense moments, we did have some happy ones too. Well.. holiday's all gone. Back to the daily grind.

Before i scoot off again, i would like to thank Nessa, Emila and Yoon See for their beautiful greeting cards :) Thanks again for the very cute stuffs! I will treasure them.

I'll continue with a long windy post tomorrow... mebbe.

I'll Be Home For Christmas ~ Karen Carpenter

A song to boost up our Christmas spirits :)

I got something to own up now. Today's the 17th December... and our Christmas tree is not up. *LOL*

We are not going to be home for Christmas this year. But that's not really a valid reason not to put up the tree and make my old man happy. I'm just lazy. Really.

My batteries are finally depleted and i'm just bumming around these few days :) Its kinda fun just bumming around.

Every home needs an anchor. Mommies are always the anchor in a home. The anchor keeps everyone and everything in place. The anchor decides on things to be done for the home. The anchor keeps the home alive and filled with laughter.

We lost our anchor in 2007. Ever since then, we all keep going off somewhere for Christmas.. hahhahaa. We run away. Christmas reminded us too much of our anchor. Even last year, i put up the Christmas tree with only Dommy by my side. I scooted off too after that.

What is Christmas without a tree?

Well.. i hope to put up our Christmas tree tomorrow since Boy came back tonite. We always need a kid around when the tree is up. After our tree is up, we'll be going off on our road trip :)

Christmas is the only time of the year when i really take a break. We have our yearly shutdown and i hope to get some alcohol to drown myself... hahhahahaha Its been a while since i had a drink and i have been thirsty :D

Hopefully... i'll have a picture to share with you guys tomorrow of our tree... or any tree :D

Karen Carpenter was a wonderful part of my childhood memories :) We grew up listening to her quite a lot. She has such an angelic voice. May she rest in peace.

It Makes No Difference ~ The Band

I was reading a piece at Pete's. An excellent piece as always.

Caught this pretty neat number from his side which i've never heard of before. Thought i'll share it with you guys :)

It rained quite hard yesterday evening and the thunder triggered off the main switch many times. Its suddenly quite warm over here now in this part of the world. Someone's clanging some cymbals in my head. Wait till i catch up with that bugger.

Have a neat Thursday.

C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S - Jim Reeves

Christmas has always been special even when we were little. We don't have a christmas tree then but we still sing christmas songs each december and wait for good ole santa to come in the big big bus (yes bus! and not a sleigh) with the carolers from the church.

Santa will bring with him lotta sweets for the whole neighbourhood kids. Some younger kids will be so scared of santa somehow.. *LOL* Some years we get big big santas that go booming ho ho ho.. and on some years.. the santa's a bit thin. But we still love that part of christmas :)

The last time the carolers came to our house to sing was a few years back when mom was still around. They had a good time challenging the motion sensor reindeer toy that we hanged on the door. When they reached a higher pitch.. the "clapping motion reindeer" will go HO HO HO and break off into a christmas song on its own. The carolers sang louder and louder to set the reindeer off. Everyone had a good laugh and lotta fun that night.

Jim Reeves is very much a part of our Christmas. We only had that one cassette by Jim Reeves for christmas carols way back then. Every Christmas, Jim will come out from the drawers and sing again :) Jim was even in the car when we go out. I think i still kinda like his christmas carols.

Christmas is just round the next bend. Dommy and i will probably take leave soon here and be off on our Christmas break and hopefully wean off some internet time :)
