My sister sent me an email that went..

I'm staying for a week ! Yippee!

hmmm... i was wondering when she's coming back to stay for a week. *LOL*

Then i read on further and found out the email was supposedly from Brandy. Brandy came by and stayed with her for a week. She is having a ball of a time with Brandy.. (and i am so very jealous). Somehow, this yellow furkid is like magic. When she comes by, my sister is so happy when she's with her. I can even feel her grinning away when she's talking to me on the phone just now. Tired but definitely happy.

Brandy is a bigggggg bag of cheer. Just lookit her below.

How a drop of yellow makes all the difference. She has such a funny face. Looking at her just melts my heart.

I am contemplating driving down tomorrow just to get some yellow cheer and lots of droopy saliva. And a photoshoot with one of my favourite muse. Ahhhhhhhhhhh.. i wish.
Brandy out for a walk

Brandy came for a visit this morning in my mailbox :) Its been a while since i saw this pretty girl. The last time i saw her, she dragged me up and down a hill while chasing birds along the way.. hahhahahahaa.. She is a whole lot of fun and full of drool too.

Sis wanted to bring her back last weekend to bring some big yellow and hearty laughs to me. But i am really at a busy period these days since its almost the end of the year. If Brandy came, i would probably be running in the garden with her or rolling on the grass trying to take her pictures again.

She is pretty photogenic and quite a good poser :) She can sit still for a long time while you take her pictures. But she is energy abundance. Taking her for a walk was like dislocating all your limbs.. hahhahahahha

She is more behaved as she is older now. Almost to 1 or just turned 1. But still playful as usual and with a big pretty smile. Maybe we'll invite her back for Christmas :) I'll have a whole week off then. More to spend with the yellow.

Both sis and i call her Kuning :) She is a big yellow. Isn't she beautiful?
Is smiling contagious?
It is it is :D

Is yawning contagious?
It is it is too :)

The picture i was looking for these past two years finally materialise before my eyes thanks to Kuning. I finally caught his big smile. I am so happy.

no smile... deep in thought i guess ^_^

... and he smiles :)

Dommy laughing.. his best laugher :) cos the eyes are closed. He must be very happy.

This is proof that dogs do smile. And they do laugh too. I am sure they have feelings too.
Last weekend has been great with the Yellow Spot... and Piper and Dommy. I think all my clothes smell of doggy breath... i almost ran out of clean clothes. I am beginning to smell like a dog more on most days. Maybe i am crossing over and becoming a dog.. heheheheehe And i do have baths every single day.. :)
Hello all :) I am finally back from my roadtrip. Kinda got extended in a way :D

We were just in Kuala Lumpur to visit my sisters and Piper. When i am in KL, i usually forget about computers and just like to lie low and be lazy. Am even more tired than i was last friday. *lol* Guess its the "age thingy".

My knees are kinda giving up on me. My whole body is aching from god knows what i have been doing.. hahhahahahaa.. All i actually did was walk some dogs. Three to be exact :)

Kuning was here last week. Sis was dog-sitting for her friend. She was with her for a whole week. Kuning makes her happy. A goldie with their magical smile and their ever happy face just lights u up like a lightbulb.

I am happy to see her smile and am less stressed when Kuning is here. Even though walking this mighty strong girl is a feat in itself. hahahhahahahaa

From this last weekend i spent with Kuning... i found out that Goldies...

1) are with lotta energy... just watch the movie Marley and Me and you'll see Kuning. She's almost like Marley.. hahhahahahaha

2) they can walk very very far... and never seem to tire

3) they love to drink every other puddle of water or any water they can find on the ground

4) they pee quite a bit considering the water they lap up everywhere

5) they love to chase birds.. hahahhaha.. they are so excited when they see birds.. so hold on to them when you walk them

6) whether they are female or male, they still love to hump our legs.. hahhahahahaa
(the guy at the grooming shop was saying.. hey.. ur dog is hamsap**... then i said.. err.. she's a female.. then he went.. izit??? he even bend down to look.. hahhahaha.. then he was scratching his head and went.. why was she humping my legs.. *LOL*)
**hamsap means itchy or pervert in Cantonese (usually refers to a male)

7) dogs ONLY listen to their owners commands and will just conveniently forget all the commands that they have learnt when they are with strangers

8) goldies poo only once each time u take them for a walk.. but be ready for a big big poo.. hahhahahaaa don't forget to bring the scoop

9) if you have weak shoulders, don't even try to walk a goldie who is still at its puppy years... they just drag u everywhere

10) goldies love grass... they love grass as much as they love water

11) goldies love to dig too.. hahahhahaha.. i shud get a goldie to help me dig holes on the ground if i want to plant anything :D

i think Goldies are just basically very happy dogs. They love to please and they love you to bits. They love to lick your face too. Their saliva is a lot too.. hahhahahahaa..

I love this Kuning even though she seems unruly and uncontrollable like Marley. But she's still just a puppy. She has grown quite a bit since i saw her in February. And best of all, she made Dom smiled. I finally manage to capture the picture that i was looking for.

The dog was created specially for children. He is a god of frolic - Henry Ward Beecher

Kuning is indeed a god of frolic.. hahaha.. She is so lovable and funny. With a face like this... who can not but to fall in love with her.

I think Kuning would have grown a few inches already since the last time i saw her during CNY. Soon she will be much much bigger than PP... and Dommy too. When she comes running.... without brakes... we all better be ready to fall backwards :)

I miss this yellow furball too!
YeHaaaaaaaaaHaaaaaaaaaaaaaa... i am on a roll tonite. Too bored with my daily work... and nagging from "the upperheads" so i decide to drop that and sneak over here.. hehe.. i'll get back to that tomorrow.

And so... guess what happened to Brandy. I'll let her tell you herself.

Its not my fault... its really not my fault... i was just checking out the pond... and the rocks formation... and the steps... and and the hibiscus was delicious the last time i ate it.

Then i decided to test out the rocks and see if they are sturdy... and and this water taste so much nicer to drink... i drank it when PP's mummy was not looking.

And and then i slipped. I I I fell into the pond... but i am a goldie.. and i love water... and i am smart... and and and i forgot that i am still small... its quite hard to climb up again...
I hang on to the rocks for dear life and yelped out real loud to PP's mummy to come and save me. PP was even helping me by barking out to his mummy really loud to come downstairs to save me. PP is such a darling.

PP's mummy came down and promptly save me from my swim. I I I was really just checking out the rocks. Really. I got the evidence.. My head, neck and ears were all dry. Just half of my body is wet.. and its really quite hard to climb out from the pond again. (but i can jump out real fast in a few months time when i become a big goldie.. you just see).

In a few months time, when PP's mummy and daddy goes to work... i will just have my swim in the pond... and just check out more rocks... and hibiscus. But i will listen to PP's mummy now.. and not go near to the pond. Just in case i decide to check out some rocks and fall in. I'll do it again when i am a bigger doggie.

Golden Retrievers do love water... a lot. Their coats are dense and water repellent. But just because golden retrievers love water does not mean they cannot drown. Especially puppies and curiosity. Watch them around a swimming pool. The are not like humans... and know how to come up the steps of the swimming pool. Crate them... or put up a fence.

As you can see.. the Yellow furball above is still laughing over the whole fell into the water fiasco. They have the face of an angel... and when you want to scold them, they just give you a silly smile and all is forgotten.

Goodnight folks :)

I got a call yesterday earrly morning... from PP's mommy. She was on the way to work and was stuck in the jam all becos of Yellow Stuff. hahahahhahahaaa

Was just talking to my sister the day before. About how Goldies love water. Sis have a small pond in the back garden. Kinda like a water feature with a small waterfall. Since Yellow Stuff is at a very curious stage in her life, we decided to put her at the back garden just in case she decides to take a walk on her own and go missing if she's at the front porch. She is safe... but.. not safe from the water. Everyday she is walking nearer and nearer to the pond... which is about 1 feet deep.

Yellow Stuff have been very busy the last weekend chomping on hibiscus, grass and even small pebbles. She always have to have something in the mouth. Sis even peeked at her and saw her at the edge of the pond.. drinking from the pond. When she called her.. she just innocently walked away.

Curiosity IS one of the most important aspects of life be it for animals or humans. It is through curiosity, a deep desire to find out things, that life promotes itself. It keeps itself alive, reproducing again, and gathers resources more effectively each time.

A lack of curiosity can lead to a lack of life. And a very bored sleepy dog.

And guess what happen to the Yellow Stuff that morning.
Happy Valentine's Day to everyone...
love from Dommy, Kuning and Piper :x :x :x
All three of us... celebrated our Valentines Day at the park. Near the carousel... we pooed & peed and checked all our "love mails" left by our other doggie friends.
Since Kuning is here for the weekend, we got another extra doggie breath.. i mean another doggie friend to run laps around the house. And since she's a girl, we'll let her have the run of the whole house.
Have a good valentine and a great weekend. I am now off to show this new goldie girl my house and share some treats with her. I am trying to win her love. Ahhhhhhhh.. to be in love. I think i'll win heads down since Dommy is stuck in the hometown with Anny ;)
Grandpa is coming down tomorrow and hopefully i'll get to spend time with grandpa too.
Till then... wooooooofff! and a wooooooooooooooff we go...
love,
Piper
