Our newest family member. I brought her home on 2nd November 2013. That'll be her Gotcha Day.
As some of you know... Dommy loves the company of other dogs. Mr Piper however does not like to play with him. When Nana came... you can see from his expression.. he's happy. Very happy.
I realised that what he really needs and wants is the company of another dog. In his senior years, i feel that i owe him that much. To bring him more happiness and someone to play with. He's suddenly transformed back to being a puppy and running round and round the garden.
Nana is only suppose to stay with us for only 2 weeks. I was fostering her and am suppose to bring her to our adoption drive today. Today my dad agreed to let Nana stay. I am really really very happy. I went to the adoption drive today without Nana. Dad said that she's a good girl and she can stay.
I fail big time at fostering.
She is a very good girl. Only 1+. High energy and loves to run loops around the garden. Sweet natured. She was one of the puppies who was adopted out from our adoption drive last October. Even back then, i noticed she had a very good temper as she was quiet but the rest of the puppies were making a racket.
Her owners only know how to love her and only taught her all the good things. She never knew fear. She trusted everyone and love everybody. She even trust cats. She only know love and love to be loved. Like a human child, she loves to sit on your lap and wriggle like a worm.
My mornings are now filled with cold noses to my face. Relatives just shake their heads and ask me why i allow another dog in the house. They shake their heads in disbelief. They tell me its unhealthy and its not good to have dog + dog in the house.
If you are going to have a pet and not treat him/her like a family member, you should not have a pet. You can hire a security guard instead. I now sleep more soundly at night knowing that i am with two furry loved ones. I now have two shadows. I have more sand in the house, more poo to scoop but i am happy.
Oh... an owl came by the garden the other day. It settled down on our swing and fell asleep. It looks like an owl from the Harry Potter movies. It sure didn't go hoot hoot hoot. It let out a very cold wailing sound which spook the hell out of me.
She love stuffies and she loves to de-stuff Dommy's bed too. Dad gave her the name Nana after the singer Nana Mouskouri. Her nickname is Cacing (which means worm in our Malaysian language).
More stories in the days to come. We are now just trying to get to know one another. Goodnight for now.

We have been very bad at keeping up appearances here and way over yonder too. We have run out of any valid excuses really :) Nothing much happening over our side of the world really... except for... urmmm... this is one of those loooooooooooooooooooooooong posts... i get a little long winded when its late at night.
The Curly is just sleeping quite a lot. Most of the time he is under the bed where its cooler.
Can you see Curly? I am sure there's a Curly there. Its dark but Curly.
Here... try again. Do you see a Curly? i know there's one. Send everyone a woof will ya Dommy.
WOOOOoooooOOOOOoooFF!!
Told ya there's a Curly there in the dark :)
The Chinese New Year "heat" has decended upon us in leaps and bundles and buckets and and and.... Its warm warm and very very warm every other day. We only had a wee bit of rain sometimes in the evenings. We sure hope some places don't start burning and send us their smokes. Last year we had it really bad. The heat and them smokes and everyone i know was trying to do a raindance.
Well.. Chinese New Year's over and out. We were on the road.. and with family for a whole week in Kuala Lumpur. My backpack is still on the floor from the last trip. We did a lot of gambling and some eating and lots of laugher. We are going to be on the road again in 2 weeks time when the Jaiboo comes home. He didn't make it home for Christmas. So he's rescheduled to February end. Its only February and we seem to be going up and down a lot lately.
When we were in Kuala Lumpur, we were at a new place where dogs can run freeeeeeeeeeeee. Dom was super excited and sniffing everywhere and anywhere. He had his walks without leashes and he was just trotting happily without all the pulling and tugging by me. I am a slow walker while he trots likes a horse. It was freedom for him and we had many many walks everyday. That's probably how we spend our Chinese New Year. He lost some flab and drank a lot of water and slept like a log each and every night. I however got a bit darker too from all the walks in the sun.
We were so free and happy that we didn't take any pictures. *LOL* Our hands were not holding any cameras or mobiles and we were just enjoying our time together. There was no internet and there was no reason to keep the computer on.
Dom made friends with a dotted dog. He's dotted like a dalmation but a lot shorter than one. He has perky ears and a very happy smile and a non-stop wagging tail. They played and jumped and played non-stop. Yes... i didn't have a camera or a mobile. A very friendly dog which was walking alone without a leash too. It was like probably how doggy heaven would be i suppose. Where the dogs run free and played all day. Maybe we'll see him again next time.
Now we are back to the grind. I am actually quite overloaded with work since January. With too many holidays overlapping over the weekends, i began to dread holidays. When you come back from a holiday and fire up your computer, the emails all just choked up. Its like a traffic jam in the email box. Don't we all hate traffic jams. And you get cc'ed in every other mail.
We got new systems from the office. Here's me trying to setup my new computer beside the old one. I kept clickling the wrong mouse :p I love new systems but i hate fine tuning it to what works for me. I hate to do the transfers and now that we work from home, we got to setup all the things ourselves. We used to be pampered by the IT guy. He usually does all the setup for us. We just shake our legs and grin. That's not really a good idea as we become too dependent on others to get the job done when we can do it ourselves.
When i work on the computer, i am usually very quiet. Even when i was working in the office. Sometimes i have discussions with a few of my colleagues on the chats or on a call with my colleagues. Sometimes its a typing marathon on the chats with my boss or my superiors. My dad will whizz pass my window. Then he will whizz back and ask me some questions. Then he'll go out and ask me a question from the hall which i can hardly hear. *LOL* My dad is lonely sometimes. He needs the attention. He probably thinks that i am on facebook or surfing the internet.
Working from home does not mean that i can run out and play all the time. I can run out with Dom to the garden for his breaktime. I can run out to hang the laundry and i can run out to get lunch. But I have people to answer to and i have people who ask me too many questions a day at work. Some of these questions are too silly as i believe that some people do not want to think. They want the easy way out of things and just ask you to give them the answer to solve the problem. Some are not problem solvers and some just need to be spoon fed year after year.
The year of the Dragon actually starts on 4th February 2012, the first day of the Chinese Solar. This day is also called Lap Chun meaning “beginning of spring” in Chinese. On Lap Chun day, eggs can stand on
This is the only picture of i took of Chinese New Year decorations. Its a lighted tree at the Curve, a shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur. I sneaked my friend out and took her to eat. We were walking up and down there and didn't know what to eat. In the end she told me... you know what i really really want to eat. I want to eat maggi mee. Maggi mee is instant noodles. It is something which she can eat at home but not allowed by her mom. It cooks in just two or three minutes.
Her mom has changed her diet completely. She's on a strict healthy juicing vegetarian diet. Since she started chemo, her whole eating regime is being managed by her family. She is a person who loves to eat. We always love to eat all the unhealthy things. But now, she has to follow the diet to save herself.
She went for her 2nd chemo last week. She has lost all her hair and her brother just shaved her head clean yesterday. She's still very postive but bored at home. She can't drive much now as she's on some oral chemo too. She told me that her whole world is spinning almost everyday. Dizzy especially after her chemo sessions. Even a few days after chemo, she is still holding her head in her hands.
4 more chemo sessions to go and hopefully they can do the surgery and radiotherapy after that. Still a long way to go but we are very hopeful and she is still fighting on. A fighter. I am proud of her. And yes, we went to the shops and i let her eat her Maggi mee. She is now waiting for me to come down again to take her to eat Maggi mee again. If her mom knows, i am dead.
These two hardly sleep so close together. Dom needs to be constantly near me or he needs to be within eye view of me. Piper does not really like to sleep so close to Dom as Dom is easily excited and when he is excited, he runs very fast and jumps a lot. It is nice to see them sleeping so close.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes. I am grinning like an idiot now. I am not 50 yet.. but gonna get there soon one day. Sorry for lying but women always lie about their age right? You all have been very kind with your comments and telling me that running away is okay. Sometimes we all need to get away for a while if we could. Its always refreshing and its good for the soul. Just remember to come back to the loved ones and the furries.
People like me get to run away more because i am not attachedto a pole ^.^ I got a bunch of very close friends. We go wayyyyy back. The kind of friends that you can talk about fart and poos. *LOL* The ones that you can pick off from where you left off even if its been years.
I've know them for more than 20 years. Some of them are attached with families while some of us are still hanging single. Sometimes we travel in a pack like wolves. It all depends on who's available and who's free at that moment in time.
I have travelled with a lot of different people to different places. Sometimes i love to go solo as not everyone likes to travel with a crazy photographer who takes pics of all the doors and windows along the way :)
I am still kinda looking for a lonely planet traveller who will go places with me. One who is not afraid of the rough road ahead. One who does not mind roughing it out at the backpackers inn. And one who will love to photograph doors and windows just like my crazy head.
On this trip to Malacca, we stayed at a hoity toity place as it was my day and we decided to go hoity toity as it was the 11-11-11. The next time this date comes around again, it will be a hundred years. I don't think i will still be around in a hundred years. We want to remember when we are old and crinkly that we had hoity toity before :) We are sometimes a bit impulsive. It was supposed to be a party of three of us but one of my friends could not get off work.
The Majestic Hotel is an old mansion which was built in the 1920s. Having retained its old facade, it is quite a stunning building. Every corner is a breathtaking sight. The walls holds many secrets i am sure. I went a little crazy with the camera here. Stepping into this building is like taking a step back in time.
Before we booked into this hotel, we were afraid that there might be spooky spooks to greet us at night as it is an old building. No spooky spooks came by that night :)
This is The Library in the old mansion. Tea is served here. This lady in the pink kebaya was just going about doing her work of setting up the tables for tea.
Some of the corners at the lobby has this glass jars. The glass jars hold some light snacks. It was a nice touch.
The hotel overlooks a village called Kampung Morten. A traditional village with kampung houses in old Malacca architectural style. I've been to Malacca many many times but i have never stumbled here before.
This is a living museum called Villa Sentosa here in the village. A very friendly old man manages the place. He'll answer all your questions with a big big smile on his face.
There are some homestays here and the next time we come again to Malacca, we will be checking out the homestays for a different experience.
We will show you where we met some prettyjuicy interesting men in our next post :)
I think i have been quite lucky all my life. My family loves me. I get to do what i want most of the time and i got a job which i love. I get to run away sometimes. I only get nagged once in a while. But don't mind the old folks. They might be long windy winded but they nagged because the love you. I even know how to switch off my ears if the nagging gets too long. I have trained my ears to be like the radio switches :)

Its been a week since we last posted.. *LOL* We tried. We did try to post but soonest we did, we got sidetracked elsewhere. We have cut down on our cat watching :) Dom said that if i didn't post soon, he'll ignore me and won't let me rub his curly tummy. Hmmmm...
Last weekend was nice. A time to catch up with some folks and a time for the older folks to catch up with extended families. Since i am much of a lazy bugger lately, we'll post more pictures hopefully next Wednesday when we should be doing the Wordless :)
My ole car coughed its way to Lenggong... and brought us back safely. We just couldn't keep up with the Evo and the Civic. The X-trail was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy ahead because the passengers had to be back to Kuala Lumpur in the afternoon. But we made it slowly... and surely.
Lenggong is still Lenggong. Very much the same as how i saw it when i was a kid. Its like a cowboy town with 2 rows of shops on the main street. The bus station is the same as how my grandpa had left it a very long time ago (Grandpa used to be the station master there). The freshwater fishballs (saito fishballs) are still the same. Just very expensive now for a tiny ball. But its super duper delicious and should not be missed if you ever make it here to Lenggong.
Not much going on there anymore as more and more young people have moved to bigger towns. But... they are building a big maternity hospital beside the big graveyard. How spooky can that be. Or maybe someone is pulling our legs about the hospital.
The road to Lenggong is not too windy now. There's a new highway that takes us there in half the time. My sister used to be sick in the car all the way to Lenggong. The trunk road is a super nice route to drive if you like the left and right and left and right driving. It used to be that windy all the way.
One of these days, I might just gather a few friends and drive all the way to Betung, Thailand. My uncle told me it only took him 3 hours to get there from Ipoh. But i drive like an old lady, so it might take us 4.
On our way back to Ipoh, we stop by another smaller town along the way. Sauk. This is where we had our lunch.. and the one hour wait for the food to be served is well worth it.

The famous freshwater fishballs... when you bite into it, the taste is divine.. *LOL*
Fish stomach cooked in garlic ginger sauce...
I don't remember if this was pork or chicken... but it was cooked in some sweet sauce ;)
The food pictures above are for my sisters to drool over. That's my wicked revenge to them for not making it home. WAHAHAHAHA... they sure know what they have missed now.
After they served the third dish, i dump the camera quickly and ate to my hearts content. The fishballs were flying off the plate in two blinks of an eye. *LOL* My aunt asked me, don't you want to take the rest of the dishes? No way... i am famished. I should have.. i know. The catfish was really big and fresh and deeeeeeeeelicious. But i was famished. Next time i'll try to have more control :)
Sunday evening i got a call from a close friend. She said that she has a watermelon in her that is growing too fast and she was scheduled for surgery on Tuesday. Her fibroid grew too fast and too furiously. We talked and she was very worried. She kept asking me, how can this happen. The doctor said that he might need to remove her womb if its bad inside. Given a choice of having a child one day and saving your life now, you don't really have much of a choice when things like this happen.
Her surgery went well. She's still weak and can hardly speak. But she'll recover fast. She's a trooper. Her womb is saved.
Another very close friend called me on Tuesday to tell me her checkup was not good. She has multiple breast lumps and they have to be removed soon. A quick scan showed that she had multiple fibroids too. A double dose of trouble. A history of breast cancer running in the family is not a good thing too.
Sometimes we hope that things like this will not happen to us. We feel that it can only happen to other people but not us. But when it does, what do we do.
One day at a time. We go one day at time. Seize the day today. Carpe diem.

Lonesome Town - Ricky Nelson
Thursdays. What usually happens on Thursdays? Nothing much actually. It has been a slow day at work with not many people buzzing me :D Its been a slower day here in our town. Warm and just very warm. Today is the last day of the Chinese New Year celebrations. After 15 days, i am sure we could all let our tummies have a little rest.
Lonesome Town is the song my papa's been listening to currently. He's been singing it over and over again these past few days.
My papa celebrated his 70th birthday last Sunday. My siblings were back and papa's siblings too. We had quite a big bash at the restaurant. We celebrated our uncle's 60th birthday and my nephew's 1st birthday plus a CNY gathering. We had a private room with 5 tables and karaoke and lots of "happy spirits". A lot of dancing and singing
My dad didn't want a big bash as my mom is no longer around. But his siblings insisted that birthdays must be celebrated. We don't get to choose our families but families should always stick together through good times and bad.
Some things money cannot buy is family.
papa's cake
Here's the cake by Missy Nancy Chong. Missy Nancy Chong is a very famous baker in Ipoh my hometown. We always love to order her cake as its super dooper nice. Its just a simple butter marble cake with butter icing. But her cakes have stood the test of time. I had these cakes since i was a kid. Even royalties and big wigs love her simple cakes.
She just operates her business from her home. Her cakes looks the same. Same icing.. same colors all through the years. I requested for a green base this time as green is my papa's favourite color.
Missy Nancy's pretty old now. I saw her in the kitchen still icing the cakes just the way she did long time ago. She is a very nice lady. If you are in Ipoh, don't forget to order her cake. The nicest butter cake ever. I got a mighty big sweet tooth too.
all the cakes @ the party
We are a very "sweet" family. *LOL* The amount of sweetness in the cakes will last us a whole year.
Dommy didn't get any cake... as it was very sweet but when we came back from dinner, he had gone thru the extra bag of trash which was not in the bin and helped himself to some icing. Bad Dommy Bad.
Its all quiet here now at home. Everyone's gone back home to the city. We are back to lonesome town.
lonely.. i am sooooooooooo lonely...
i have nobodyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
all on my ownnnnnnnnnn

YooohooooooooOOOOOO :) Sorry for missing on posts here lately. Dommy says that if i don't post soon, he's gonna lose some friends. He's all thumbs. He don't do the keyboards very well. But he's very good in this.
sleepy curly
caught sleeping on the job ^.^
We haven't been posting much lately as Boy was home for his semester break. We were busy keeping him happy, pampering him to the core, fetching and cooking for him and spending time with him. He's 18 and we all still pamper him like a baby. Urmm.. we even made a trip to McD's every single day for ice-cream too. McD's is sure making me broke by opening a new venue just 5 mins away from my home. *LOL*
We have had lots of people/family in the house. Sis was back, Piper was back. Boy's mom and dad were back too... Boy's siblings were back. One sibling stayed back. It was nice to have so many people in and out of the house.
Now dad is back to wailing singing with the youtube. He's back to being an old lonely man. He's been singing with the youtube the whole day today. (Youtube is a saviour cos he can find all his oldies in them) Before lunchtime, his headset conked on him and i'm invited to join in his music selection till i ran off to the shops to get him a new headset. But i can still hear him singing. Now he keep singing Irene goodnight Irene goodnight.. I'll see you in my dreams tonight. I am very mean to make fun of my old dad. Poor dad. He's so bored and lonely.
ETS train
This is the new electric train that comes to my hometown a few times a day from Kuala Lumpur. It takes about an hour and 45 mins to reach Ipoh. It is a tad expensive but its very clean, new and fast. The Clean, New, Fast works for me. Especially the Fast part as this train's been punctual so far. Most of the intercity trains are usually delayed.
My hometown gets its steady stream of tourists from the city each weekend. It is good for tourism for our quaint little town. I've been to the railway station two times this week to send the boys off to their mom and to send Boy off to college yesterday. It is the safest cum fastest mode of transportation to get him back to college minus the bad jam from the long Diwali celebration over the weekend.
You can check the train schedules here www.ets-train.com.my if you want to come to Ipoh :) If you need a tourist guide, Dommy would be most free to take you around.
Curly is most happy when Boy's home
Today is my friend the Booker Man's 2nd Barkday. Do hop on over and wish our labradude a great 2nd barkday.
HAPPY 2ND BARKDAY TO
DA BOOKER MAN
DA BOOKER MAN
We are very much behind schedule on the Sketchbook project. All we did are doodles.. *LOL* Kinda lost the rhythm along the way... and drawing with a pencil first and outlining it with ink don't work very well. We do better just going freehand. But going freehand is bound for some disasters. HAHAHA But anyways, we hope to get it done and finish the whole sketchbook before the deadline. We will not give up.
doodles
kinda sound like Puddles Duddles
it must be the Kool Aid... ^.^"
We just got some fat Sharpies today in orange and cyan. We hope to doodle more and speed things up with big Sharpies. *LOL* I will still want to finish this sketchbook and meet up with my friend Emila come December to let each other have a peek and touch on them sketchbook before we mail them out to New York. Emila is doing the theme "Boys and Girls" and so far, she has been brilliant.
If my sketchbook make it there to New York, it will probably be the silliest one there.. hahahahahaha Because real artists don't use Sharpies.
Cranberries fruit have been my constant source of inspiration when i was younger. I found them again on Youtube. Hopefully they will inspire me once again to finish this in due time :)

Back Home Again ~ John Denver
This is one of my many favourites of John Denver's songs. Yep.. i am from the John Denver era :) whoops! kinda makes me old :D He was very much a part of my life as he kept singing in the background no matter in the house or in the car :) He was everywhere.
The last of family member left this morning. Boy was the last to leave. A very sad face again. *LOL* Poor kid is always with a sad face each time he has to go back to college. And the countdown to sadness starts from yesterday. We told him.. cheer up. Its only 6 weeks and you'll get to come back home again for a holiday. No amount of cheering up did crack a bit of a smile on that face. Maybe it was the ulcer in his mouth that was giving him grief.
Boy saw most of his friends this time he came home for his break. They were all back since it was the Hari Raya holidays and a lot of the colleges and universities were having a longer break too. He went out with some friends and compared notes about living life on their own. Most of them suffered. Most of them are not very happy. Most of them have to struggle real hard.
He's in one of the top classes in his school. They are a very competitive bunch. Very brilliant bunch of kids. Most of them are on government scholarships and doing heavy degrees. When you are on government scholarships, you have to struggle hard to get a good place in the public university next year.
He told me, none of his friends are happy living out on their own and away from family. I asked him why? He told me... it is because we have to struggle and study real hard all the time. There's really no time for play because 2 years of work is cramped into 1 year to prepare them for university. I wonder if this is education gone wrong. Our country is developing a bunch of robots.
I remember my time in college was the happiest. But i did art. We didn't do much studying. All we did was have fun and went everywhere. We didn't have much grieve. It was just late nights doing the projects before the presentations but most of the time we were singing happily and doing the projects into the wee hours of the morning. But i am not a professional and i don't earn a lot of money. That's probably why i should have probably studied harder last time :)
We have had a lot of family at home these past few days. Dad was happy for the extra company. Dommy was delighted. So many people giving him tummy rubs and so many people taking him out to the garden to run wild.. hahhahahaa And so many people feeding him under the table. Each and every person in the house seems to be feeding him secretly and he's not telling me who. He's just happily bobbing here and there with a perpetual smile plastered on his face.
His head is ruffled each time he walks into each and every room in the house. Everywhere he walks he gets a Dommieeeeeeeeeeeeeeee... and he was almost not beside me most of the days. He was kinda parked at the dining table because that was where he had his most handouts :)
This holiday alone... just these few days.. i think he has kinda gained a bit of weight. His tummy seems to sway left and right bobbing happily away when he walks. And i thought that i have successful controlled his weight lately. I am going to get a shelling from Dom's groomer again next i see her because she will tell me that i am overfeeding my dog... again. But its really not my fault. Really.
Well... guess we do have to trim down his food again. His thin long legs will not be able to support his weight when he gets older... and he's very much a senior dog. Its really something to watch out for. Overfeeding is not love. My father always say that Dom doesn't look like a poodle. He says Dom's too fat to be a poodle. He looks like the roundest poodle. He'll probably have to join the Biggest Loser
It has been a good holiday this time. We didn't go on any roadtrip and got stuck in some other state or on the highway. We were just at home bumming around. Cooking.. we even made a lasagna that don't quite taste like cardboard this time (yes! we are getting there) kids making cupcakes.. and just tons and tons of laundry :) Our laundry keeps piling up each day even though we did about 3 rounds each day. I could even hear the washing machine groaning away and finally heaving a sigh of relief yesterday.
I met up with some friends who came back too. It was nice catching up with them. We were laughing so loud in the coffee shop we kinda forgotten our manners. We were rolling on them cushions and thought that we were at home. These were my college friends. They still remain my closest buddies.
Well... this kinda sums up our long weekend of the Eid holidays. Hope everyone had a good break back home with family or with friends. Its been a while since this home was filled with life again. Both Dom and i are waiting for the next time that they will be back home again.
Very tired well fed rounded creature. He don't quite know how to cover his bits.

Last weekend we went on a short roadtrip to the hill station near my home. It takes about an hour plus to go all the way up to the top... urmm.. almost the top :) We were at Cameron Highlands for a short weekend getaway.
Cameron Highlands is most famous for their tea. BOH tea. It is also where a lot of our vegetables are grown for our country's own consumption. Strawberry farms are also in abundance here. You can spend your day picking strawberries at the farms too.
It is funny i hardly come up here. Its only about an hour away to enjoy a wonderful view and cool clean air. I guess i am probably just lazy most of the times :) During the holidays, it is a no-no to visit this hill station. We locals know that its a bumper to bumper ride all the way up the hill. With a lot of honking too.. kind of like a wedding car entourage *LOL*
My uncle rented his company's cottage up in the hills and it was a very pretty cottage. The view was superb. It was way up in Brinchang and pretty close to the Boh Palas Tea Plantations
.
My uncle is quite a nature lover. He loves to be in the forest and close to nature. If you want to see a rafflesia, he'll know where to take you. He's always running and at 50, he is still very much into marathons and stuffs.
Each time i go on a holiday, usually i'll take quite a lot of pictures like a crazy picture starved person. Documenting our trips became a very much loved hobby for the past few years. But this time, i was just taking the pictures with my eyes and less with the camera. I was just enjoying the view. Keeping the beautiful sight in front of me in my head instead of in my computer :) Sometimes i trust my memory more than the harddisk since one conked on me :p
Ahhh.. and this time... my two furry friends came with us on this holiday. When we go for holidays and stay at hotels, most hotels do not allow pets in my country. Dom and Piper are usually sent to the boarding hotel. I don't quite like to send them there now as each time they come back sick and dehydrated. The last time we were away for a week, both of them came back quite sick even though we gave the boarding house our own pet food. The place costs us a bomb and they both still came back with bloody stools.
There were a total of 21 humans + 2 furries in that old rickety cottage :) 12 more family members came for dinner that night. They left after dinner back to our hometown. Our extended family is quite a loud big bunch. Two birthdays were also celebrated that night.
During the night, some of us slept on the wooden flooring in sleeping bags as we went as a big group. There were only 3 rooms and all the beds were for the aged and the smaller kids.
The winds were howling and the wooden shutters were banging that night and it was pretty eerie *LOL* Dommy was sleeping right beside me on his own sleeping bag and Piper was in and out of his mommy and daddy's sleeping bag. He kept changing places every few hours. Towards morning, our feet was getting real cold and its a good thing i had a personal furry heater right beside me :)
This place boasts a pretty sunrise each morning. I woke up at 5.30am to wait with my camera and a coffee at the porch but no sunrise as it was a wee bit cloudy that morning :)
All in all, it has been a good trip for everyone especially for the older folks to catch up. My dad and his siblings had a good time catching up and laughing quite a lot. It is good to be able to bring them together once in a while and to hear them exchange health tips, recipes and health issues :)
I'll probably go there again to catch more photos next time. That's all from our roadtrip last weekend. Hope you enjoyed the photos :)

his tee is getting a wee bit small for him.. it is riding up *LOL*
Either the tee has shrunk or he's getting too fat

Spooooooooookyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy picture eh? Wicked! *LOL*
My feet has suffered a lot. Its usually dry.. hahahahaha.. i am a lazy bugger. I am too lazy for creams. And creams do make you slip and slide. Whhhhhhhhhhhhhhoooosh! Usually i wear socks even when i am at home. It saves them from getting nicked or bumped.
I think i have two left feet. I surely can't dance very well. My feet keep knocking on chairs or walls or things that are not even in my way... so surely the only explanation is TWO LEFT FEET. I should probably take good care of them feet. They have served me well and taken me everywhere. I'll go buy them some intense hydrating cream tomorrow and hope i don't slip and slide too much :D That is if i don't get too lazy.
My feet is green in the above picture because...
Boy just got his SPM results and he did very well. We are so proud of him. I am sure mom is grinning up in heaven. She would have been smiling non-stop for days if she were here. Hardwork pays in the end.
He's going off to college soon. My journey with him takes a turn now. He'll be off to making new friends, finding out new things, growing up... falling in love... and enjoying some freedom. I am sure he will enjoy his journey. My only wish is for him to be happy. Always.
Ahhh.. life changes. Life goes on. I'm turning pink tomorrow :) Watch out world!

- I've been playing in the garden too often and too long till my feet turn green.
- I have jealous feet.
- People have green fingers, i have green toes.
- It just turned green on St Patrick's day. (How come no one reminded me about the booze... i mean urmm.. St Patrick's Day)
- I GO GREEN on most days.
- Incredible Hulk is my best friend.
- Urmm.. i do have horrible feet *LOL*
- Why am i showing my toes here on this post. I must be running out of things to write about.
- My feet have to turn green to go with the flip-flops which were green.
- Whose slippers are these anyways.. *LOL*
