Hello there! I AM BACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!! Do you all remember me?

My name is Piper... and this blog is mine. But some Curly's been hijacking my blog lately. Even though i live in another state and in another house... this blog was started because of me. The small cute fluffy lil one. Yes yes.. i am the small fluffy cute lil one.

I came home last weekend with my momma and momma says that i can stay here for a vacation of sorts :) I am staying here for a while and my momma will come and pick me up soon. I know she will because she loves me and i saw her looking really sad when she left yesterday. I wanted to tell her i don't need a vacation but she says it is good for me to have a little break and have some fun with the Curly.

Curly. He is a riot. He bounces me here and there and in his haste and excitement, sometimes he bounces me to the side. I am just a small little fella and he is like a bouncing ball. But i do love Curly even though his mouth stinks! He is always full of grass all over his Curly self and not refined at all. Even though he is nice to me and share his only toy with me (the noisy ball that spooks me), his mouth still stinks like the sewer.*BOL*

Curly got conned into the car and was carted off for grooming yesterday. I on the other hand got to spend time with MY boy, grandpa and Anny. I got some special noms, lotta tummeh rubs and a massage too. Then i got a photo session and more noms and more tummeh rubs. This is the life.

Poor guy is so tired.. he slept in the car on the way home from the groomers.

Poor Dommy was at Sumomo for only two hours and he was back to being cute and naked like a sheep that's been shaven. He still looks somewhat cute in a way but he will surely never get to my cuteness level. Everybody speaks to me in a different nicer tone (because i am cute and small) and to Dommy in a louder tone because he is a riot. He is like a Curly on a sugar high on some days.

He is pretending to sleep here and trying very hard to look cute.

He's gonna be 9 soon and if you look closely, he has all the aged spots and wrinkles. *BOL* And he still wanna look cute at 9. *BOL*

I got a huge surprise when i got home. There are these two small kitteh cats in the garden. And one of them is like a white ninja. He/She springs here and there as if its little legs were with tiny invicible springs. They love to lie in the flower pots during the day.

I am awfully scared of them as they are very fast. The white ninja even tried to make friends with me today WHILE I WAS TRYING TO POO. Can you believe it. Here i was at the garden trying to poo.. and he walks over and said HI!

Grandpa seems to take a liking to this white kitty and sometimes we can hear him talking to this white kitty. He likes this white kitteh cat as he says it has beautiful blue eyes. Its funny but he only likes this one kitteh cat.

All these kitteh cats come and go. Usually when they are bigger, they go away  to explore the world. Sometimes some of them comes back for a meal or two. Some walk and walk so far, they never find their way back. But we are never short of them kitteh cats here. The regulars usually find their way back.

Its getting late now. I gotta go sleep with MY boy now. I got to sleep in my boy's room. Just me and my boy in his newly painted blue coloured room. He plays with me all the time. Poor Curly is in Anny's room which is much much warmer. I think being cute does have its advantages.

I miss you Mommy. I think of you alllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll the time. And of daddy too. Tell daddy to take care of himself and he can use my yellow bed when he naps in the afternoon.

Goodnight folks :)

Piper
Its almost the end of the Eid Holidays for school kids. Back to school on Monday. And back to the daily grind for most folks. Back to horrendous jams too in Kuala Lumpur. I am sometimes quite glad i am back at a small town and our small town jams.

Dad's been quite quiet lately. Bored and lonely. In this household, we all have our own things to do. Even Dommy, he has things to do. Well.. sorta.. urmm.. if you count checking his daily doggie mails a thing to do. He has to do it in the mornings, sometimes in the afternoons and most of the time.. (if it doesn't rain) the evenings are crucial mail drop times.

Dad's been just keeping to himself. Quiet. With youtube and spider solitaire. He even refused to eat dinner yesterday. Just quietly with the headphones at the computer. Being old is not easy. Your motors are getting slower. You forget things more easily. On some days, he forgets where he leaves his glasses. Sometimes we all stop what we are doing and look for his glasses. hahahahhaaa... Sometimes it is in his trouser pockets... once i found it on the roof of my car.. sometimes in weird corners... usually its at hard to look for places. Even Dommy joined in our search. I told my dad to just leave his glasses on top of the tv each time he takes it off.. even if he has to walk a bit to get to the tv. Now he does and less searches for all of us.

Both Boy and i were wondering why dad is so quiet these few days. Grumpy and quiet. Boy got the brunt of most of his naggings. Dommy and i were just hiding in the room.. *LOL* Finally he said it while i was taking them out for lunch. He was looking for lemang and found none. Since it is the Hari Raya/Eid Holidays, usually we can find lemang sold by the side of the road at some places. If he had told me earlier, i would have scooted everywhere to look for lemang.

I spotted some lemangs on my way back from town and just shouted lemangggggggggggggggg.. and screeched to a halt... hehehehehe.. We bought some and went on our way home with our prized bamboo. When he saw the lemang, he was quite happy and promptly ate some. Then he started to talk more and was happy again. But he's back to his grumpy quiet self again. I guess he's just tired.

Well.. at least we score a little today. He's also sad because the kids did not come back at all during this long Raya holidays. It doesn't really take a lot to make an old man happy. Grudges should probably be put aside because life is really short. Would you want to hold a grudge against your father or your mother for a long time? They are old. One leg is already in the bucket. Everyday they wake up is a bonus day for them. Why hold grudges against old folks. I don't understand. I wish i could punch someone's face now. hahhahahahaha.. err.. but i am not a violent creature.

Living a life full of grudges and revenge will just eat your heart. You can never be happy. When they leave you one day... you'll just be filled with so much regret and what ifs. That will probably take a lifetime to forget. If my mom was still here, she'll probably tell my dad to not worry and just let it be. Forgive and forget. Me sitting on the fence here is not helping things. I guess its time to just punch someone's face now.

Be a forgiving creature and you'll leave a happier life.

lemang ~ Lemang is a traditional food cooked in bamboo that is lined with banana leaves. It is made from glutinous rice and coconut milk. Usually its eaten with some rendang/curry chicken especially on Hari Raya.
Swan Lake. I am not a ballerina but i always like ballet and the arts. I've never watched Swan Lake in real time but i love to see ballerinas especially the small kids in little tutus doing the twirls and the half-turns. Its amazing and so very graceful.

Sometimes ballerinas do look like real swans to me. If i ever have a little girl, i'll probably drag her to ballet lessons... and piano lessons.. and dance. A good balance of music and dance is very good for a kid.

I caught some swans at the park yesterday. When i watched them, i felt like i was in a ballet show... and Swan Lake was playing. I have not gone tootles yet.. hahaha.. but i do have a very weird imagination.

Come welcome the swans ;)

does this pose look like a real ballerina doing the ending pose?

(but people should stop throwing plastic bags in the lakes... its very bad for the swans and ducks... they get tangled and they get injured too)

these swans look so clean and white... kinda like someone cleaned them up... so white.. like whitewashed... so white... even the white in my paintbox don't look so white... so white man.. hehehe

the rest of the party of the Swan Lake production :) cool ya?

Caught this westie when i went to the park today. In full winter wear :) cute ya?
I always like the face of the westie. Kinda looks like Tintin's dog. I am not very sure if Tintin's dog is a West Highland terrier but i do know Tintin has a terrier :)

Boxing Day is a public holiday in the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Hong Kong and countries in the Commonwealth of Nations with a mainly Christian population. In South Africa, this public holiday is now known as the Day of Goodwill. It is based on the tradition of giving gifts to the less fortunate members of society. Contemporary Boxing Day in many countries is now a "shopping holiday" associated with after-Christmas sales. (read more here from Wikipedia)

Today is Boxing Day. A day after Christmas. From where i come from, Boxing Day is not known much. In my country, the day after Christmas, some folks would already be back to work. And for some other luckier folks, they would still be in a festive holiday mood and maybe planning another big bang bash for the New Year.

Well, my Boxing Day was quite alright. I went with Bebe J's folks to the park. After being here a week, i still have not walked to the park yet even though its just next door. Beautiful day as the sun was really bright. But as Bebe J's dad says, its kinda like a fake sun. Its not warm. Just bright and sunny.

Even when you hang your laundry out in the bright ole sunshine here, none of the clothes get dry. hahahhahaa.. kinda tickles me cos the laundry will be dancing on the clothes line.. out on the line for just a breather.. but we kinda have to put it in the dryer later. None of the laundry gets dry in the fake sun.

Today i got some beautiful shots of the park. I will put it up slowly but surely.

I saw some dogs at the park too. Kinda makes me smile when i see dogs. And i think of the ones i left behind... Dommy and Piper. Dogs and their funny antics. There was this grey small dog who keep coming back to me... and running back quickly to the owner. Kinda like a fast forward button dog. hahahahaha.. it just darts around.

This white doggie even jump on my lap to say hi when it passes by. Haha.. so cute.

A green head ducky. I don't know what kind of duck this is... but i only see wooden ones at home. People in my country like to buy wooden replicas of this ducky as decorative items for the house. But this duck is REAL. Wow! I am kinda like coming out from the bottom of a rock.

And this.. is the beautiful park. So peaceful and serene. Postcard picture perfect. I was so in awe when the birds took flight. So many things i have forgotten while in my mad rushed life back home. And this holiday without my bb and all my connections, made me realise that sometimes all the mad rush is not worthwhile. I found some parts of my life back. When i was young and carefree while being silly.

Hope you all enjoyed the pics. I took about 100 pics and some videos today. Haha.. Its dangerous to let me have a camera in my hands. Good thing is everything is digital. I'll show you all more the next time. Adios amigos.
