It is fun being anonymous on the blogsphere. But sometimes we meet some nice people on the blogsphere and when they become great friends, we do wonder about the person behind the blogs.

I met up with one of my blogging buddies Nessa (FINALLY!). Her hubby tagged along too. Nessa is the only person i've ever seen from my blogging circle in real life. We've been planning to meet for the longest time but time is somehow never on our hands until last Saturday.

this is how Nessa looks like :) Isn't she pretty :)
(photo stolen from Nessa's blog)

I couldn't sleep the whole entire night because Piper was snoring the whole time beside me and i was woozy the next morning. I didn't have anything presentable to wear as i am always in pajamas, shorts and jeans. Dom & Piper was supposed to sew me a dress but they slept off even before they started sewing. Dom said i could wear his orange workman tee but it was seriously too revealing and small + bright for starters. *LOL* But seriously, even if they did sew me a dress, i won't look good in dresses. I'll probably step on the hem and trip over or something.

Nessa.... she's one of the first few people who commented on my blog when i first started blogging. She so sweet and soft spoken in real life. I am so glad we finally met up. It was like i've known her my entire life.

We write and read so much about each other's lives on blogs that even though we don't meet, we know each other so much. We share lives through our words and i am always glad to have this blogging circle of friends. You all are awesome. Hopefully and maybe one day i'll get to meet some more of you. Especially Kristin, lil Pip's mom.

Thank you Nessa for all the gifts... especially the big cow mug that you got me. *LOL* It just suits this cow completely. I love it. Please thank your hubby for the latte :)

We are finally home to Ipoh after 25 days in Kuala Lumpur. Both Dom and i have moved to Boy's room to sleep as the aircon is cooler there. The room is darker and its a very comfortable smaller room. It is also newly painted :) Boy painted it with dad few months ago. Boy gave us permission to move into his room as he will hardly get to come back to Ipoh now with his very packed lectures and schedules.

My dad had a hero's welcome when he went for his morning taichi lessons at the park. His taichi buddies all have missed him a lot. 3 weeks away is a very long time for older folks. Even though it gets a bit lonely in the day and night, he will enjoy his early morning walks and exercises with his friends. He will be occupied and he will be alright. He only misses Boy, his favourite grandson. Now he's back to asking me loads of questions the whole day. You will hear me go.. ya... urmm.. yes.. aha.. rightttttttttt... if you live next door.

My sister's biopsy from the operation came back all good. Thank you all for your prayers. She is all okay and will be on the road to recovery. She will just have to get up and get going again slowly. Recovery is all about you. How fast and how slow all depends on you and you alone. She can take her time slowly and recover at her own pace.

For a woman who has had her womb removed, especially a woman who has given birth before, they will feel a sense of emptiness. I remember mom feeling the same way. It will take some time for the hormones to go back to normal and for things to fall back into place. But i am sure she will be fine. Slowly and surely, she will get back to the run of things and start nagging at her hubby and kids. *LOL* They DID have a peaceful three weeks when sis was with me. But i am sure they are glad that she is back to run the household again.

I did get to meet more people this time round. We will play catch up and tell you more on our next post :) And... urmmm... we have a new schnauzer in the house. Wanna see him? Come back tomorrow :)
Its 6.20am here and i am awake with too many things running through up there :) The mind is wide awake but the body is begging for sleep.

We have been in the city for a week now. In Kuala Lumpur. Time sure moves way too fast over in the city. 24 hours is all gone in a sneeze.

We loaded the poor ole car with all of Boy's stuffs and the puters and the grandpa and two furries. For an old car, it sure can take a big load.

Boy is officially in university now. His dad sent him over to his new residence at campus on Wednesday. Compared to his old room in college last year, this is heaven sent. He only has to share the room with one other fella which is his friend from college. Both were so happy to be placed together that they we doing some funny dance when they saw each other. A good start to life at uni. All we worry about now is only him getting up in the mornings to attend lectures. Even the world's greatest alarm clock will not be able to wake him up. Hopefully his room mate will just pour some water on his face each morning to get him up.

I am currently working from my sister's house in a corner by the window where squirrels taunt me each morning. This squirrel runs up and down on a wall in the garden each morning. It stops momentarily to look my way.. then goes on its way. Once i saw a snake moved on that wall when i looked up. It sent shivers down my spine. Sometimes i see the magpies doing a dance or two on the wall too. Magpies are a usual feature wherever i go. I seem to see them everywhere. The wall facing the window where i work is like a mini stage show for all these creatures of nature.

Piper in his ducky bed. Sis got this for a steal at Chatuchak Market, Thailand.

We took Dom for a second opinion at Piper's vet last weekend. An innocent carride that ended at the V-E-T is not a very nice thing to impose on a furry. We met a very nice young vet who is most passionate about his work and his patients.

Some blood works were done. Quite a lot of blood were taken. Heartworm is ruled out. He has no heartworm. He has always been on Heartgard all the time that he is with us. But we just had to make sure for the 4 years that he was not with us. Another set of blood were sent to the lab for a complete blood works test.

He has thyroid. He also has a suspected autoimmune disease. Suspected because the Coombs test for canine is not available in our country. The rest of his blood works is fine. A lot of new big words for us to stomach and to check out. A good thing i got a pretty smart brother in law who is able to give me some answers to some questions. We are finally getting some answers on Dom. A better diagnosis this time.

Dom looking for squirrels in Piper's garden yesterday afternoon.

We are currently in Kuala Lumpur for these weeks because my sister just went for an op to take out the melon fibroid that was in her womb. How did the melon get in there. It was a Washington apple last year. This year it grew to the size of a melon. A common problem with women. Fibroids and stuffs.

Hospital runs are crazy in Kuala Lumpur. It took me an hour + to get to the hospital and another 45 mins to get back. Dad is bounced like a ball and left to the mercy of his daughters or whoever who is free to drive him around. He doesn't drive in Kuala Lumpur as the roads confuses him. He doesn't quite understand traffic and jams in Kuala Lumpur. We have been having hospital cafeteria food which is not quite so bad really. Through it all, dad is still in good moods and have been most patient with us.

A wonderful remote to annoy the patient.

Sis will be discharged today later in the afternoon. A bit more colour has got back on her face. She was weak and delirious the first two days as she was drugged to minimise the pain from the op. Now she's back to walking around and urmmm.. scolding people. She is easily ticked. *LOL* Easily agitated and irritated. I got to weather some storms from her soon.

I can't show you a pic of my sis on her hospital bed. She will most definitely kill me.
So i'll show you a pic of my shoes on her hospital bed frame.

We are so sorry we haven't been visiting so many of you. We will come around soon when life gets back to normality. Take good care all of you and catch up with you all soon.

Great Pretender - The Platters

Don't you just love oldies. They sing more about love and fun. The lyrics are more simple and true. And catchy.

I love oldies because i am an old soul. I love oldies because i grew up listening to all these songs but they were not oldies back then :) That kinda makes me old now :D

The Platters were and still remain one of my favourites.

My dad just got his ipad loaded with loads of oldies. He's been blaring the songs every single day and that kind of makes him happy. Someone has been very kind to share all their oldies with him. Now he's more occupied with singing. He won't get up to answer the phone and he won't get up to answer the door. So try calling him now. *LOL*

To be at his age, life can get a bit lonely. He sends me and my siblings emails everyday even though he's just sitting in the hall. He forwards a lot of funnies, thought provoking things and gentle reminders sometimes.

Here's one of the gentle reminders he sent yesterday which i think that i should share it here with all of you. Its a very long poem. I am sure some of you would have stumbled on it before.

Cranky Old Man

What do you see nurses?
. . . . . . . What do you see?
What are you thinking
. . . . . . . when you're looking at me?
A cranky old man,
. . . . . . . not very wise,
Uncertain of habit
. . . . . . . with faraway eyes?

Who dribbles his food
. . . . . . . and makes no reply.
When you say in a loud voice
. . . . . . . 'I do wish you'd try!'
Who seems not to notice
. . . . . . . the things that you do.
And forever is losing . . . . . . . . . . A sock or shoe?

Who, resisting or not .. . . . . . . . . . . lets you do as you will,
With bathing and feeding  . . . . . .The long day to fill?
Is that what you're thinking?  . . . . . .  Is that what you see?
Then open your eyes, nurse . . . . . . you're not looking at me.

I'll tell you who I am . . . . . . . As I sit here so still,
As I do at your bidding, . . . . . . as I eat at your will.
I'm a small child of Ten . . . . . . . with a father and mother,
Brothers and sisters .. . . . . . . . who love one another

A young boy of Sixteen
. . . . . . . with wings on his feet
Dreaming that soon now
. . . . . . . a lover he'll meet
A groom soon at Twenty
. . . . . . . my heart gives a leap.
Remembering, the vows
. . . . . . . that I promised to keep.

At Twenty-Five, now
. . . . . . . I have young of my own.
Who need me to guide
. . . . . . . And a secure happy home.
A man of Thirty . . . . . . . . . My young now grown fast,
Bound to each other . . . . . . . With ties that should last.

At Forty, my young son
. . . . . . . have grown and are gone,
But my woman is beside me
. . . . . . . to see I don't mourn.
At Fifty, once more,
. . . . . . . Babies play 'round my knee,
Again, we know children
. . . . . . . My loved one and me.

Dark days are upon me
. . . . . . . My wife is now dead.
I look at the future
. . . . . . . I shudder with dread.
For my young are all rearing
. . . . . . . young of their own.
And I think of the years
. . . . . . . And the love that I've known.

I'm now an old man
. . . . . . . and nature is cruel.
It's jest to make old age
. . . . . . . look like a fool.
The body, it crumbles
. . . . . . . grace and vigour, depart.
There is now a stone
. . . . . . . where I once had a heart.

But inside this old carcass
. . . . . . . A young man still dwells,
And now and again
. . . . . . . my battered heart swells
I remember the joys
. . . . . . . I remember the pain.
And I'm loving and living
. . . . . . . life over again.

I think of the years all too few . . . . . . . gone too fast.
And accept the stark fact . . . . . . . . that nothing can last.
So open your eyes, people . . . . . . . . open and see.

Not a cranky old man. Look closer. . . . . . . see. . . . . . . ME!!

My dad is quite a cranky old man too. On some days, i actually tune out. Mentally drained. But its not so bad nowadays. I've learnt to cope and he has learnt not to be too cranky on me... sometimes.

Try watching the news on tv with him. He'll curse and swear at all the government issues in the country *LOL*. You do not know whether to laugh or cry or just run to another room. Try driving with him in the backseat. You'll wish you can just stop the car in the middle of traffic and run out. For every other thing, he will find some negative thing about it.

But when i get too quiet, he will worry. *LOL*

My dad buys me breakfast every morning after his walks. He bought a whole lot of ham and bacon when he saw that i was so sad when Dom was not eating. He told me... give him some ham. Dom will surely eat ham. He folds all the clothes in the house after the laundry. He wipes my car all the time. He buys me food when i am sick.

How can i be angry with my cranky old dad. They might be cranky most of them time. But i guess if i am at his age and have aches and pains everywhere and with no one to talk to except Dommy and Piper... i could be cranky too.

Be nice to your old folks and if they get too cranky and grumpy, just tune out if you cannot take it. Don't pick fights with them. Don't hurt them with words. Silence is always the better weapon. Its funny. When i am silent, people are always afraid. ^.^

Dom is getting much better. Still wearing his road construction orange top. Still sleeps a lot. But he is eating more. Still loves chicken stew and raw fish. Still handfed. I think he just likes the idea of handfeeding.

Some people say that i should stop handfeeding him and just let him eat on his own or starve. They say that he will eat eventually when he's hungry. I only have one Curly. I don't think i can get to heartless yet. He must eat.. and be well first. He does have springs on his legs again :D
We wish to thank all of you who came by and left some kind thoughts for me. I am getting much better and enjoying my steam chicken and ham.. yes.. HAM. I am also handfed every meal. I think i should milk it a few more days more right?

They come in a bright pink, a dull green and two very white whites. Pills. I don't like to eat my pills... and they taste nasty. Each time i eat them, they put me to sleep. Nasty pills. These group of pills are nasty fellas. She says that i must eat them to make me feel better.

Missy v-e-t fed me my pills in the clinic the other day. She just shoved them in my throat and closed my mouth. She did it 4 times. She did it so fast that i didn't know what happened. But my Anny couldn't do the same thing. She is awfully scared of my sharp teeth. *BOL* She is also awfully scared that i would choke. She is such a scardy cat. I think she's been mixing with the cats too much to make her scardy.

When i was at the v-e-t place, i was very brave. I didn't try to make myself invicible. I just lie on her lap and waited for my turn. Its a new clinic and there's two v-e-ts there. They are awfully nice too except for the part where she put the termometer up my behind and the part where they jab me with the awful needle.

The weather's not getting any better. We still have the extreme heat and smog filled air. No rain at all. We have got to the point where we try to create our own rain by doing the rain dance. It didn't help. Just dry and very dry air. Some clouds but no rain.

My brother lil P has gone back home with his mommy last weekend. The weather was slowing him down too. He was lying around panting quite a bit. His fur is much much thicker than mine and his mommy decided its best he go home. The weather in Kuala Lumpur is much better. He left his old bed behind.

When i miss Mr Piper, i lie on his bed and think about him. *sighhhhhhhhhhh* I wonder if he is having steam chicken too.

We were both with Sumomo for a day last week when they went on a short roadtrip. We had a good time at Sumomo. I even got to meet Momo. If you need a place to stay while your hoomans are away on holiday, stay with Sumomo. They are very nice people.

They even took pictures of both Mr P and me. We are now famous because we are on some very famous thing called Facebook.

We read a very interesting post on our friend Sugar's site today. Her mommy wrote a very good post on the Golden Age. Both Sugar and i are at our senior years. We are both 9. Do head over there and read about it. My Boy just told me that next year when i get to 10, i will be older than grandpa. Oh boy.

My Boy will be with me for another one more month and then he will be off to university. He got himself into medical school. Hope he will enjoy his university days and become a good doctor one day. We are all very proud of him here. He is still a very lazy bum who doesn't like to get up in the morning but we all love him with all our hearts. I better make the most of my boy's time with me. He does the best tummy scritches. I wonder if he'll leave his bed for me too. Hmmm...

Meantime... it is really very warm to lie down on beds in the afternoons. Even with the AC on, i am just lying on the cold floors.

Till then, thank you again for all your kind thoughts and comments. I will be better soon.

woofs n licks,
Dommy
Days are so warm and even though i love the sun a lot, i am not allowed to roll on them grass in MY garden for very long as SOMEONE says that i bring in a lot of dried grass and sand. What's wrong with dried grass and sand i tell you. They are nature's most lovable things to me. A Curly like myself love my dried grass and sandy garden.

It is summer here in Malaysia all year round.. all 365 days + 1. We sweat more and extremely on some months and somehow SHE says i stink too easily during these months. I never complain that SHE stinks sometimes *shhhhhhhh*. SHE must think that she smells like flowers everyday but hell no. If only she knows. *BOL* She does smell better because she gets 3 or 4 baths a day while i only get one bath a week, surely i stink more... i think. Even a Curly can do the maths here.

My Boy's been bored lately. He should play more with me and give me tummeh rubs. Then he won't be bored... i think. He should take me for long walks but he's in a world of his own. Cloud 11 maybe. Aimless creatures of the night. Sometimes he talks to me. I try to keep him company as best i could. I stay in his room in the late evening to keep him company but sometimes he is too busy playing with his puters thingies and forget i am there.

Then i worry about the one that feeds me. SHE is in another room all alone and SHE might be snacking on something delicious and i could be missing out. And then there's grandpa... i have to keep an eye on him too because he gets lonely sometimes. But grandpa don't give me tummeh rubs. He just shares his food with me. That makes him my bestest friend.

Even though everyone says that a dog gets the best deals around because we do not have to work... but... i do have to do a lot. I am the social magnet in the house that connects all of them dots. Without me, them dots will be aimless and lonely... i think.

Some people do not know what wonderful companions we can be. We listen to all your woes and troubles and we lie on your lap while hoping for a tummeh rub. We just listen without trying to get a word in. We give you an occational nuzzle nudge or a lick to show you we understand.

Kids should have a dog or two or many many doggies while growing up. We are wonderful educators. We teach them to turn around three times before they lie down. We teach them to be humane and kind. Sometimes we also teach them to give tummeh rubs.. hehehe We make the bestest friends that any kid could ever have.

When you have a dog at home, how can you ever be bored. Right? Right?

Here's my boy and i. We do a lot of snoozing on them floors lately.

My boy has to wear a yellow funny face as sometimes... he drool when he sleeps. He is also quite good looking and he might take all the attention from me.

Here we are snoozing again.. hehehehe.. We do a lot of this lately. Its called urmm... bonding or so SHE says.

We want to thank everyone for their kind words and comments for the last post. You are all very kind. We will try not to let her get too personal on this doggy blog next time. This blog is suppose to be all about Curly and Mr P if he EVER comes back. I miss my little brother.

Thank you again for letting HER share her thoughts and thank you for listening. It really means a lot to her that total strangers can care so much.

Her friend is okay for now. Her session went well yesterday. Some nausea. They were laughing out loud about some hair tonic thingy and they might check out a pink wig soon as Georgia's momma suggested.

Got to go now. I hear someone eating something in the hall. Must be grandpa.

Dommy
Finally... i get to go on a car ride. I am just going out to buy some buns for dinner. We went to our usual stall about 10 mins away. They finish up fast because the buns are very fresh and bouncy like my curls. These fellas closes shop earlier and earlier these days as every evening, we are getting heavy rain.

We are getting very extreme weather these days. The afternoons are extremely warm. You can fry eggs on the sidewalk. I just hide under the bed on most afternoons .

In the evenings, we get very heavy rain. The other day, the rain water started coming in through the drain hole for the washing machine. It was like a mini pond in the dining room. I was all ready in my trunks to go a swimming in the pond but she said NO WAY am i allowed to wade in them water from don't know where. Such a party pooper she is.

With the extreme hot and wet days, bugs, ticks, fleas thrive very happily in our garden and everywhere. I am on Frontline on the dot every month. We cannot take risks now. Even with Frontline, i do bring back the occasional ticks and micks from my walkies. But HAH! They don't survive long. They bite into ME and walla! they are sucking on the Frontline in my blood. *BOL* Suckers!

Its raining now. BAH! There goes my evening walkies.

My Boy is coming home on the train later today. I hope he brings me some nom noms from his college. I can't wait for him to come back. I bet he has many stories to tell me. He tells me all his secrets too.

Till then, i'll just park myself in grandpa's car now just in case they forget to take me along to pick up my Boy. You never know. She is quite clueless you know. Have a happy Friday everyone. We know we will.

meantime... do check out mister Frankie's site...
He has a very important something to share with all of you. If you all could help.
We all know bloggiepaws stand together and help each other when one is in need.
YooohooooooooOOOOOO :) Sorry for missing on posts here lately. Dommy says that if i don't post soon, he's gonna lose some friends. He's all thumbs. He don't do the keyboards very well. But he's very good in this.

sleepy curly

caught sleeping on the job ^.^

We haven't been posting much lately as Boy was home for his semester break. We were busy keeping him happy, pampering him to the core, fetching and cooking for him and spending time with him. He's 18 and we all still pamper him like a baby. Urmm.. we even made a trip to McD's every single day for ice-cream too. McD's is sure making me broke by opening a new venue just 5 mins away from my home. *LOL*

We have had lots of people/family in the house. Sis was back, Piper was back. Boy's mom and dad were back too... Boy's siblings were back. One sibling stayed back. It was nice to have so many people in and out of the house.

Now dad is back to wailing singing with the youtube. He's back to being an old lonely man. He's been singing with the youtube the whole day today. (Youtube is a saviour cos he can find all his oldies in them) Before lunchtime, his headset conked on him and i'm invited to join in his music selection till i ran off to the shops to get him a new headset. But i can still hear him singing. Now he keep singing Irene goodnight Irene goodnight.. I'll see you in my dreams tonight. I am very mean to make fun of my old dad. Poor dad. He's so bored and lonely.

ETS train
This is the new electric train that comes to my hometown a few times a day from Kuala Lumpur. It takes about an hour and 45 mins to reach Ipoh. It is a tad expensive but its very clean, new and fast. The Clean, New, Fast works for me. Especially the Fast part as this train's been punctual so far. Most of the intercity trains are usually delayed.

My hometown gets its steady stream of tourists from the city each weekend. It is good for tourism for our quaint little town. I've been to the railway station two times this week to send the boys off to their mom and to send Boy off to college yesterday. It is the safest cum fastest mode of transportation to get him back to college minus the bad jam from the long Diwali celebration over the weekend.
You can check the train schedules here www.ets-train.com.my if you want to come to Ipoh :) If you need a tourist guide, Dommy would be most free to take you around.

Curly is most happy when Boy's home

Today is my friend the Booker Man's 2nd Barkday. Do hop on over and wish our labradude a great 2nd barkday.

HAPPY 2ND BARKDAY TO
DA BOOKER MAN

We are very much behind schedule on the Sketchbook project. All we did are doodles.. *LOL* Kinda lost the rhythm along the way... and drawing with a pencil first and outlining it with ink don't work very well. We do better just going freehand. But going freehand is bound for some disasters. HAHAHA But anyways, we hope to get it done and finish the whole sketchbook before the deadline. We will not give up.

 doodles
 kinda sound like Puddles Duddles
it must be the Kool Aid... ^.^"

We just got some fat Sharpies today in orange and cyan. We hope to doodle more and speed things up with big Sharpies. *LOL* I will still want to finish this sketchbook and meet up with my friend Emila come December to let each other have a peek and touch on them sketchbook before we mail them out to New York. Emila is doing the theme "Boys and Girls" and so far, she has been brilliant.

If my sketchbook make it there to New York, it will probably be the silliest one there.. hahahahahaha Because real artists don't use Sharpies.

Cranberries fruit have been my constant source of inspiration when i was younger. I found them again on Youtube. Hopefully they will inspire me once again to finish this in due time :)

I Love How You Love Me - Bobby Vinton

Soppy Love Song Day. Its been a while since i last posted a soppy love song :) I do love to start posts with a song. It sets the mood for the day or hour and lets you get carried away while you hummed to the song :) Gotcha there ya?

We have been busy playing at another playground and building some new playgrounds :p We'll probably open up another playground for you to come over to play soon. Or maybe in a few more weeks when the grass grows better and the rides are painted. Yes yes.. we are quite a crazy bunch here.

My nephew was home last weekend for a short visit from college. Its not the term break yet. But i guess he misses home a lot. He's looking forward to term break in two weeks time to scoot on home again. Grandpa was extremely happy that his favourite grandson is home. He even went to the store to get all his favourite drinks and snacks to line them up in the fridge. Yes.. he is a pampered one. He's 18 already but we do pamper him quite a lot around here. But a kid has to be loved and pampered and spoiled sometimes. And only a grandpa usually loves to do that.

When we picked him up from the station, he grinned and grinned and never stop talking for quite a while. Both grandpa and grandson had so much to tell each other. I kinda felt like the taxi driver eavesdropping into their conversation. I guess both of them misses each other quite a lot.

Two days and many meals later, we have to send him off at the train station bright and early on a Sunday. I have never seen a sadder face than the one looking back at me through the window. Reminds me of the time when i was about 20 and going off to the city to work. The journey back to the other side is dreadful. You cling on to the food that is packed for you from home and savour it all even though its cold. You cling on to whatever that is home and hang in there till the next trip home.

He's has grown up quite a lot in these two months. He rather spend time with his grandpa now than to go out with his cousins and friends when he is home. When he is not home, the house feels so empty. Even Dommy is yawning louder to fill up the air.

We are going on a short roadtrip again this weekend. Hopefully... we'll catch some memories in the memory keeper to share with you. Am looking forward to a break again :) Now we got to head off back to the other playground to get some work done. Goodnite folks. Hope you enjoy our soppy love song.
12:16am... on a Tuesday morning :) It is nice to be home.

We came home finally (dad, Dommy, Piper and i) last monday. We have been away from home since Jaiboo left in March. It seems like quite a long time ago. We did make short trips back home for a day or two and left again for Kuala Lumpur.

Actually it was suppose to be just a 2 weeks stay at my sister's house while i help Boy settled in to college. But it became a 2 and a half months stay away from home. Good thing we have great relatives who have been looking out for this ole house.

During our 2 and a half months away,
  1. Boy went into Taylor's for further studies
  2. Piper got neutered and woozy for almost a week
  3. Dom went for 2 grooming sessions with Tiffany
  4. Boy got out from Taylors and went for matriculation
  5. Dom and Piper moved to the pet hotel for almost a week
  6. Dommy got sick
  7. Roadtrips to visit Boy in another state
  8. The three of us going for holiday
  9. Seeing many sleeping koalas
  10. ... some wallabies which i thought were kangaroos wannabes
  11. Being pecked by some birds
  12. People telling me that kangaroos cannot "gostan"
  13. Fairy penguins can go blind if you flash your cameras at them
  14. Vietnamese takeaway food are nice
  15. Forgetting to put Frontline for Dommy and now he's itchy
  16. Jaiboo can dance now
  17. Water is expensive in Aus
  18. Mum getting less candles lit while we were away
  19. Homes become like a sandy beach if you leave them too long
  20. but Home is the most comfortable place on earth :)
Its kinda like a whirlwind 2 months being away. I have many thoughts in my head which i need to purge it out soon.. hehhehehee.. No good keeping too many things inside. My memory slips day by day. Time is always being selfish.

Hopefully this blog will be my memory keeper.

Ahhh... Aini coming to help me tomorrow. I have missed her. I better knock off now else i cannot be up in time for her.

More pictures of the Great Road Trip soon :)

*gostan means to reverse, in a backwards direction
With Pete singing in the background, i begin to collect my thoughts for the day.

Why is it when you have loads of work, the internet decides to move at snails pace? Supa doooopaaa slowwwwwww.. damn.

Why does our local internet provider have to make me use double/triple the time to finish up my work when i could do it in 1/3 of the time IF if doesn't crawl.. bummer

Why does Piper have to park himself and his nose right beside the roller wheels of my chair. I have to remain like a statue when i am working *LOL* He must be wanting a very FLAT nose soon if he keeps on parking his nose beside the wheel of my chair. Maybe i should change my chair to the non-wheels chair. Either its a flat nose or a bad back.. hehehehehee I'll leave it up to Piper

Why is it when you want to take something from another room but when you walk into that room, you completely forgottten why you are there in the first place. Oh bummer... memory loss.

Pete has to pipe down a bit now. He is making me sing along with him and it is not helping with this post... hehehhehe

Ahhhhhh well... i might as well sing along with him :) So much for ranting :p

Good news! Boy is coming home on Friday. Can't wait for him to be home. We have all missed him around here. Even Dommy.

Dommy was all smiles when we went to see Boy is another state last Sunday. Yes.. we took Dommy along and have to hide him under a blanket when we went through the security check at the gates of the campus.

He has grown up a bit. Now he knows how to wash his own clothes and iron them too. He don't even have dark rings on his eyes. He used to have panda eyes because he keeps very late nights playing games on the computer. Now he has to sleep early as he is sharing a room with 3 other strangers.

They do grow up and buck up when the situation arises. Time for me to sleep too. No point doing any more work when the line crawls :) Goodnight folks!
Clueless.. i am clueless on most days. Especially clueless in the mornings when i am not wide awake yet.

For the past few weeks, i have been getting up at 6am. For me... 6am is like the best time to sleep. But hell no... both Dommy and Piper are like birds. They are early birds. They both sleep in their own beds in my room. But a tiny movement from me.. or a turn, will get them both excited. They would think that its morning even though it could be 3am. They would get all excited to get up and shake their butts and eager to go out with the "i need to pee look".

The reason i get up at 6am is to get myself ready to send my nephew off to college before i start work myself at home. I could let him drive himself to college but he just got his licence a few months back. The early morning traffic is horrendous on the highway. And you have flying empty lorries on all three lanes of the highway rushing off to the port. Most of the time, he is not even awake yet to drive. Yes.. i think i pamper him too much. *LOL* But he's only 17.

To get to his college takes about 30 minutes and to get back to the house.. another 30 minutes. It takes me about an hour to and fro. Sometimes it takes about an hour and a half for me to get home to turn on the yellow blinkers.

On some days, i'll drop by the wet market near his college and get some grubs and stuffs to cook for dinner later in the day. Probably take me about 15mins to do a very fast marketing.. hahhahahaha I get fresh fruits... fresh meat and some vegetables too. The breafast and nasi lemak at the market is not too bad either. They come in very big portions for a steal.

Some days i get a bit hoity toity for my own good :) Usually i'll pass by McDonalds, KFC, Dunkin Donuts on the highway. They seem to call out to me with their bright colourful signboards. Come come come and get some donuts.. or come and get McDonalds breakfast.. :) I don't quite like KFC in the morning.. hahaha

I love McDonalds breakfast. But the coffee is crappy as hell. Arabica coffee... yucks! Its just bitter. Even with sugar, it kind of leaves a dark aftertaste in your mouth.

Today i went to pump some petrol and walla... Dunkin Donuts seems to be sending some positive vibes to me. I needed a sugar fix and and and i fell prey to the lovely donuts on the tray. Donuts and i go a long way. I have a mighty sweet tooth and one of the reasons why i don't really have much teeth left on me *LOL*

Since no one in this household fancy donuts except me, i only got two dreamy donuts. Yum yummmmm :) When i was about to pay.. i was going.. urmm.. maybe i could use a fancy coffee. I decided to give myself a big treat. Walking to the car, i grin like a silly goose while clutching the two soft donuts in the bag and the coffee in the other hand.

When i reach my car, i automatically put my cuppa of coffee on the roof of my car while i search for my keys in my pockets :D I drove off slowly and the donuts seem to be screaming at me.. EAT ME EAT ME... Being the glutton that i am... i parked my car a few meters away and quickly munch on one of the soft donuts. Yummmmmmmmmm. Then it hit me.. where's my coffee?

Damn! I must have left it on the roof of my car. I quickly got out of my car... and walla! There sits my beautiful coffee. Not a drop missing. It was just clinging on for dear life when i drove that few meters. *LOL* Good thing i drive like an old lady and i didn't make any sharp turns. I think the cars around me would be thinking why this idiot is driving around with her coffee on the roof.

The donuts did save the day and the coffee. Dunkin Donut's coffee is better.. nicer.. smoother.. urmm.. urmm.. maybe coffee that is "saved" taste like a million bucks.. hehehhee.. Not that i know how a million bucks taste like.

The internet service here is crawling like a snail this week. Is it me or is everyone experiencing exceptionally slow internet speed? I am crawling at 1Mbps.. hahahahahaa... It is almost an impossible feat to do any updates on heavy websites. Ah well... i think i'll go read a book for now. This slow speed is driving me up the wall.

Oh.. i am currently reading this. How to Behave So Your Dog Behaves by Sophia Yin.

I got it from Borders on Monday. We are just a few pages into the book. Both Dommy and i are reading it together ;p This book might help me to understand my dogs better and their behaviours. It is suppose to teach me how to behave so that my dogs behaves :) The book was going for a steal :D

I was searching for Emila's My Mother's Garden in Borders. I couldn't find the book that Emila wrote and illustrated in Borders yet. But its available at Kinokuniya. Maybe i'll go drop by Kinokuniya soon :)

If you have a kid, this book would be a wonderful book for him/her. Its beautifully illustrated and i just can't wait to get my hands on it. Visit her e-shop to get it if you are overseas and interested to buy it. Here's the link. My Mother's Garden @ Emila's Littleshop
Cobwebs.. hehehehe.. I see cobwebs here. Updating this site seems to have taken a backseat lately :)

I have been
  • busy (not quite a good excuse)
  • lazy (sounds more like it)
A nomad's life is more apt. Lately we have been travelling up down quite a bit. Just when things are more settled, we have to up and go again. Things won't be much settled anyways. That's the fun part of life. If it gets too settled, i'll probably be bored to death.

In a week or so, Boy is moving to another state to start his studies in a college. Just when he has started making new friends and getting settled in his new surroundings here, he has to change and move to another state again. *LOL* Well.. that is part and parcel of life. Change is always good. We should always embrace change with an open heart.

3 years ago, i uprooted and moved back home to be with dad and Boy. Taking care of them as best i could or know how. It was quite an experience and a teenage kid does teach you loads of things.. hahhahahaa.. I tried to be more of a friend to him than to nag the life out of him. But waking him up in the morning to get to school was a chore. He could probably sleep through the loudest alarm clock. Even with 10 alarm clocks, i doubt he'll even hear one of them ringing.

Both Boy and i plus Dommy went back home last weekend to check on our home in Ipoh. The whole house was still intact. hehehehe The whole garden was quite a disaster.. hahahahhaa Overgrown grass, lot of leaves on the ground and dandelions which was lovely in a way. The rain has kept the garden nicely watered and most of the plants survived.

Short papaya tree. This is a short papaya tree.. which fruits quite fast. We'll have some ripe ones to eat on our next trip home :)

My jatrophas are still thriving. This is a pretty hardy plant. The future of biodiesel production? Maybe... :)

These are supposed to be catnips.. *LOL* But i had some papays seeds in the pots. I guess the papayas override the catnips in the pots. This is what happens when you don't have green fingers.

We went to the church to see mom. Poor mom haven't had a candle lit for her for weeks. The really nice old florist at the church had yellow orchids for us. He only charges peanuts for a bunch. It was nice to be home. To the familiar surroundings. To the quaint life of Ipoh.

On our way back to Kuala Lumpur on Sunday evening, it rained and rained. At one point, it rained so hard that i couldn't very well see the car in front of me. I really hate driving in the rain. Especially when i have precious cargo.

The storms can be pretty vicious. In my heart, i was going.. should i stop or should i go on ahead. With fear (yes.. i am a scardy cat), i moved on. I know my mom will keep me safe and get me to my destination.

In life, we will encounter many storms. Storms as in problems or storms as in the storm itself. If we keep on going and moving ahead, the storm will ease eventually.
We began our day pretty early today. Both Boy and i left the house at 7am. Both Dommy and PP went back to sleep. We reached his college at 7.30. We made good time. The roads are kind to us today. We have to keep up with this timing to avoid the early morning massive jams.

I figured we can do this. Sleep early and get up early. I could do with a early morning drive to get out for a while. Maybe i'll drop by my office tomorrow.

Checked out a new market which i am not quite familiar with. I somehow like wet markets more compared to hypermarkets. The people seem friendly enough. Prices are not too steep too. Most of them speak to me in Mandarin. All i did was just nod and nod away. *LOL* I can understand a little bit of mandarin. My sister's kids have taught me.

My niece used to speak only in Mandarin. We sure had a hard time conversing then as i only know so much and so few words. She used to ask me questions and i'll ask her the same question back. She was little then.

Today we are going to have burnt roast chicken ala boo for dinner. Some garlic toast. A big blob of mashed potatoes. And brown gravy. Here's our almost burnt dinner. hehehhehee.. Its been a while since i use an oven again. Enjoy :)

burnt chicken ala boo

mashed potatoes ala carrots

brown gravy ala too brown

piper ala blurr

That's about all our dinner (piper not included). Have a wonderful evening everyone :)

Footnote:
If anyone would want our recipe for burnt chicken ala boo... please leave a comment here :D We would be most happy to teach you how to burn chicken.. very fast :p

Comfortable ~ John Mayer

This is one of my favourites from John Mayer. I love songs that are simple. I love things to be simple. I get comfortable easily. My love is comfortable ;)

Life is sometimes quite simple. Some people will rock your boats and make life tough for you and even for themselves. I am not quite impressed with people like that. I will stay far far away from them.

People sometimes assume that i am distant and hard to reach. My closest friends know better :) Difficult people are just so exhausting. A simple thing can be blown out of proportion. A minute matter can be a major problem.

Sometimes we should assume less and just go outside to take a good look inside :) Everything will fall into places then.

Just collecting my thoughts :)
Spooooooooookyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy picture eh? Wicked! *LOL*

My feet has suffered a lot. Its usually dry.. hahahahaha.. i am a lazy bugger. I am too lazy for creams. And creams do make you slip and slide. Whhhhhhhhhhhhhhoooosh! Usually i wear socks even when i am at home. It saves them from getting nicked or bumped.

I think i have two left feet. I surely can't dance very well. My feet keep knocking on chairs or walls or things that are not even in my way... so surely the only explanation is TWO LEFT FEET. I should probably take good care of them feet. They have served me well and taken me everywhere. I'll go buy them some intense hydrating cream tomorrow and hope i don't slip and slide too much :D That is if i don't get too lazy.

My feet is green in the above picture because...
  1. I've been playing in the garden too often and too long till my feet turn green.
  2. I have jealous feet.
  3. People have green fingers, i have green toes.
  4. It just turned green on St Patrick's day. (How come no one reminded me about the booze... i mean urmm.. St Patrick's Day)
  5. I GO GREEN on most days.
  6. Incredible Hulk is my best friend.
  7. Urmm.. i do have horrible feet *LOL*
  8. Why am i showing my toes here on this post. I must be running out of things to write about.
  9. My feet have to turn green to go with the flip-flops which were green.
  10. Whose slippers are these anyways.. *LOL*
Okay.. its a wee bit late at night. My mind usually think about the weirdest things at these hours. Boy and i just finished some documentations for some scholarships. There are tons of things to fill up if you want to get some avenues to help you get some dough for college. Hopefully he gets something to help his parents tide off some of his tuition fees.

Boy just got his SPM results and he did very well. We are so proud of him. I am sure mom is grinning up in heaven. She would have been smiling non-stop for days if she were here. Hardwork pays in the end.

He's going off to college soon. My journey with him takes a turn now. He'll be off to making new friends, finding out new things, growing up... falling in love... and enjoying some freedom. I am sure he will enjoy his journey. My only wish is for him to be happy. Always.

Ahhh.. life changes. Life goes on. I'm turning pink tomorrow :) Watch out world!
Yes... i decided that today is a good time to write again. Well.. not exactly write but kind of give this blog an update else... urmm.. i'll LOSE MY RANKINGS! Not that i have any rankings in the first place *LOL* And not that i mind anyway.

Anyways... its been a week since i last posted something i received from the internet (yea.. i get lazy sometimes). I've been lying low as i was kind of busy clearing some work and helping sis get ready to go home. My sister, our lil Jaiboo and my dad flew off last weekend. Jaiboo is safe and sound back home with his dad who have missed him tremendously while Jai was here dancing to every sound that sounded like music.

I have a million thoughts in my head now. (not exactly a million.. hahhahaa..but that's how women think most of the time i think... yes.. think... thinking TOO MUCH) Oh.. this is a wonderful picture of how a woman's mind works. *LOL* I got it from my friends too. Guys will have a great laugh and yes.. we women have to take it with a pinch of salt :) It goes something like this...

Have you ever wondered how a woman's brain works?
Well... it's finally explained here in one, easy-to-understand illustration:

Every one of those little blue balls is a thought about something that needs to be done,
a decision or a problem that needs to be solved.

A man has only 2 balls and they take up all his thoughts.

Hopefully i don't offend anyone by the picture above. Well.. it did crack me up :)

We are going through some changes at the moment here at home. Changes are good. We learn to embrace changes with open arms. I don't really mind changes :) Things have to move on. We don't want to stay in a rut and be forever stuck in a safe environment.

I must be confusing all of you quite a bit. And that makes me a woman with a very happy active mind. *LOL* I'll try to post more in the next few days. We are going on the road again soon.

Dommy's all packed and ready to go. I just need to give him a shower first. *LOL*

Let me collect some of my thoughts and share it with you all later.

Enter if you dare. Now we have a tiger at our porch to guard our house :) It roarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrsssss.. hehhehehee.. yes yes.. our Chinese New Year decoration is up today. Well.. part of it. Boy and dad put it up this afternoon in the hot blazing sun.

Our decorations for the festivities are usually recycled every year. Be it for Christmas or Chinese New Year. But this smiling tiger is new. We just bought it from Tescos just now. To greet the little one who is coming home soon :)

I'm a bit poofed now because dad and i did quite a bit of shopping at Tescos to prepare for the coming week. I'll show you more pictures of the decorations as we add on to it :) Today we just did the porch... two pineapples.. some streamers and a tiger.

Maybe i'll go the the big market in town this weekend to go find some nice big pussy willows. They add a nice touch to the house.

Piper is snoring away now while Dom is busy flicking his ears. Piper sometimes sound like a train when he snores.. *LOL* For a little dog.. he sure is loud.

Oh yes.. our Christmas tree is still up *LOL* A marriage of sorts for the festivities. Boy said to wait for Jai to see the tree first before we take it down. But i think he is just lazy to take it down.. hahahhahahahaa

Catch you all tomorrow. Goodnite :)
Sundays are kinda hard for blogging. Serves me right for trying to NaBloPoMo for a whole month. I even got the Spaceman into the boat as well. He is furiously trying to blog everyday too at least for this month. Do check him out and make sure he blogs everyday for a whole month *LOL* He's NaBloPoMo+ing from Dream Themes.

On Sundays.. my mind just go toooooooooooooooooooooooooooot. Naw.. don't worry.. i have not fallen off my chair and gone dead :)

Sundays are just weird. I don't have the urge to turn on the computer. I just play dead and rollover.

So much about playing dead. Woke up early because Piper was sighing and sighing (yes.. doggies do sigh).. and making some sad noises cos he got bored of sleeping and wanna go check out the other rooms in the house. I let them out for a leak in the garden.. give them both a treat and i crawled back into bed and play dead again. Dom cam back to the room and play dead too after he had his treat while Piper went out and try to catch some urmm.. sights. He loves to sit in the hall.. with his face at the sliding door to watch the world go by. He loves the wind on his face. Funny lil fella.

Boy woke up. Hmm.. weird.. usually he can't wake up at all if i don't wake him. *LOL* He's been so pampered by my parents since urmm.. he was a baby. Since i came back home, i tried to rock his world a little and give him a hard time sometimes. Yea.. i am wicked.

Oh ya.. he started work a week ago. His exams results will only be out in March. I told him not to bum at home and play dead. Go and see the world and get some experience. He willingly went to work and am quite happy to be earning/working. I am actually quite proud that he manage to put in 8 hours of work a day without a complaint. Just tired feet but he always comes back with lots of stories to tell. He drives my dad's car to work (i guess that is an added bonus for him). My dad drives my car and i ended up with no car. *LOL*

He spends so much time getting ready for work. Doing and redoing his hair. Shaving. Checking his face for pimples. And rechecking. Then its back to redoing his hair. All this takes a good 1 hour. Such a vain fella. I remember i wasn't even vain when i was his age *LOL*

Dad and i went to my sister's old house to get the baby's cot today for Jai. We had a hell of a time dismantling the cot. This used to be Boy's cot 17 years ago. Its still in pretty good condition. My sister tells me its allen key assembled. But when i got there.. it was all screws. Good thing we brought the screwdrivers along as well. Now i got to knock her head when she comes back next.

We manage to fit everything in the car and brought it home. The harder part is assembling it back. I'll leave that for next weekend *LOL* If we manage to assemble it back... i'll post a picture of Boy's really neat baby cot.

Both dad and i went for dinner at "the very hot place". No no.. there's no hot women dancing in that restaurant.. *LOL* I called it "the very hot place" because i hate to eat there in the afternoons. The zinc roofs made the place really really warm in the afternoons.

We went there.. ordered our food and no tables empty *LOL* Dad saw a lone old man at a table and asked him if we can sit with him. He smiled and nodded. Both dad and him started talking like old friends. *LOL* I just sat and listen to their conversation.

Dad always mentioned that he don't like to eat alone in a restaurant. I don't really do breakfast well in the mornings. I am just a coffee and bread person. My dad loves to eat noodles or capati or roti canai or soups. So usually he eats breakfast alone. He kinda got used to it now.

So here i was watching these two old men who doesn't know each other but talking like old friends. Dad tells me that sometimes when he goes to places, he will see another old person and they will nod knowingly. Or smile. But they don't know each other. They just sense each other's loneliness.

I remember this old guy who walked in from the rain last week at a restaurant we were at. He sat at the table next to us and wiping his brow.. he said... "Heavy rain.. its flooded everywhere".. then dad answered him.. yea.. "Heavy rain.. where is it flooded?" Then this guy went.. "Its flooded here.. there..." Then we smiled and continue with our food. Then this guy went again.. "Heavy rain.. its flooded everywhere" We smiled and said yes. Not even a minute went by and he went again.. "Heavy rain.. its flooded everywhere". He was repeating the sentence over and over again.

Everyone fear loneliness. Sometimes its good to be alone to be able to do your own things but not all the time. Old folks who are left alone on their own with nothing to do will just dwindle away. Then they forget what they are saying or have said.

Did you call your mom or dad today? Or call your grandmama or grandpapa and ask them how they are doing. They will be so glad for the company. Old folks need that.
Complacency is not an attractive trait to possess. Its not all bad. But when a person gets too complacent, they become stagnant.

Here i was happily bumming around while watching a wee bit too much tv. I've been putting off blogging as it seems apt that i needed to find some balance with my internet time (probably a lame excuse). And spend more time with people and dog x 2 (Piper's here with me).

My last holidays were T I R I N G. *lol*

I came home quite tired and blurr in the head. Kinda like some big ole south winter wind hit my silly head. I couldn't function as per normal. *LOL* And just whooooooozed the whole week away. Cooking for my family took a backseat (yes.. i was lazy in that department too). Our kitchen was not open last week.

Dad and Boy went off to Kuala Lumpur again yesterday. There were some education fair going on in KLCC and its important that Boy goes and weight out his options. I send them off by train yesterday morning with dad yelling real early in the morning to wake us all up. *LOL* Even Dom and Piper could barely crawl out of bed.

I hardly have a peaceful sleep here in the mornings cos my dad likes to create lotta sounds to wake us up. When i was in my sister's house last week, one morning, i heard the doorbell. And there was dad ringing the doorbell. He had the key in his hands. The doorbell send off a chain of reactions with Piper & Dom barking away. They both sleep with me in the room. Can you imagine how high i jumped up? *LOL*

Not a day goes by without some action around here.. hahahhahahaa There was one morning when he found a rat in the house. Here he was chasing the rat and he had Dom with him blocking the rat's path. And quite a racket that was.

I am never a morning person. I don't quite like to wake up real early to eat breakfast especially noodles. Piper is a morning person/dog. Usually when i don't get up by a certain time, he'll bark the house down to wake you up *LOL* Dom? Dom is like me. He wakes up when i wake up. With a smile, he'll greet me and we'll both go out to let him have his leak. He's very considerate for a dog.

Today i had my peaceful day. Just bumming around with both doggies. Watch a whole lot of tv till i became numb. Too much tv really does numb the brain. *LOL* That reminds me... i have to wean off the tv too.

I went off to buy some treats for Dom and Piper. Stopped by the market to get some flowers for mom. When i went to see mum.. it drizzled. Mom send me something i love on my way home.

a mighty big bright rainbow :)

I miss mom. And all that she is. Not a day goes by when she's not in my thoughts. I guess dad misses her more. She was her partner in everything. He goes everywhere with her. He takes her everywhere... even to pump petrol. They are really like siamese twins.

He still goes to talk to her everyday at the church. When no one listens to him, he knows she will. My dad is getting old. He has many quirks like any other person. He's happiest when he's home. Sometimes i am not entirely patient with him. Sometimes i leave him alone to do my things. Sometimes it gets lonely for old folks.

I am trying to do the best that i know how. Even though i know that i can do better :) He always reminds me that his time on earth is on grace.

Well... he has a lot of travelling to do this year. And he is most happy too when he gets to go on holidays. Dad and Boy coming back tomorrow. Boy is also starting work tomorrow. He's awfully happy that he finally found a job. Gotta nap now.

There's a mountain of clothes that are not folded yet... a shelf which is not fixed.. and tons of things to do. And tomorrow is Monday. Oh bummer. Where did the weekends goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooOOOOOO... (too much tv sure did screw up my life... hahhahahahaha)

pp is home :)
Do you know how to string a guitar? It can be quite a bloody experience... *LOL*

My nephew plays the guitar. He has been playing the guitar on and off for maybe 3 years or more. When he started playing the guitar, we all would laugh quite often cos this boy always sings off key. He doesn't really hear himself sing even though he sings quite loud.

I would sometimes tell him... wrong key wrong key... aiyaaa.. but he would not mind.. and still keep on jang jang jang away. To be a good guitarist, you must hum or sing when you play along. Enjoy the process of guitar playing.

A lot of people don't really make it as good guitarist. They never play a full song. They will become like some campfire guitarists.. *LOL* Campfire guitarist strums a bit of song.. snatches of song... and go.. i think it goes like this.. jang jang jang.. and then.. urmm.. no no.. i think it should go like this.. jang jang jang jang... and no full song gets played.

Boy and his cousins attempted to play some Christmas carols last Christmas. All three of them are of the same age and grew up together. They were like campfire guitarists. *LOL* In the end we ended up singing Christmas carols without the music from the guitars.

When these three fellas get together to play + sing... we all haveta seal our ears. They sound urmm... atrocious together. *LOL* But like any teenager, they are quite proud of their singing and sometimes record it on their mobiles for playbacks. These are good laughs for them.

Last few days.. one of the strings on his acoustic guitar snapped. Usually he goes to the shop and the man will string it for him. Me and my big mouth told him that he should learn how to string his own guitar. All guitarists string their own guitars.

So we went to the shops and got the strings. We came home and he struggled to string it cos he is a left-hander. I saw blood on his fingers.. cuts from the steel strings.. hahahahhahaa Then i went.. aiyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa... becareful laaa. Then i helped him.. and ended up with cuts on my fingers as well. Just stringing one string on a guitar got both our fingers bloodied and stinging. We are both clueless noobs.

But hey... he now knows how to string his own guitar :) And his singing and guitar playing has improved tremendously over a year all thanks to YouTube. Hopefully we'll be able to get full guitar strummings to accompany our christmas carol singing this year.

Oh... Bola just picked up the guitar few months back. He's a natural. He however never sings out of key *LOL*
